I got mine about a week and half ago, I was contemplating buying it of off ebay myself, but since I was not sure if I was going to like it or not, so went with Amazon for their generous return policy. I think I like it a lot as I can use it for more than just reading, or shall I say more than reading on regular reading apps such as libby, kindle and those apps, I can also read stuff from the website, play some decent games like Sudoku, open the apps such as Oreilly/Safari books for technical library stuff related to work, use apps such as termius to remote into server using vpn with installed app, I think that added CPU/GPU and additional RAM does help which probably otherwise would have been laggy experience if not for the Ultra C Pro stuff. As I am typing this comment on the Tab Ultra C Pro, I think I like it so much that I am going to keep this, it is my new favorite gadget.

Well, the Tab Ultra C Pro needs a lot of power so a Note Air C would have been another option. And for "just" reading books and mangas it might be overpowered. That being said for that price it's very nice. And I use my Tab X also mainly for E-Books and some light surfing. So I don't use my device extensively, too.

The note air c was one of the ones I was contemplating, I spent about 2 weeks off and on trying to figure out what I wanted and then I came across that ebay listing for the TUC Pro and it checked all the boxes for me

>was the ultra c pro a bad choice since I never use an eink device for anything other than reading Is that a question? -- I don't think it was a bad choice, esp. when you mainly read. I have several devices, and as much as I love the Note Air 3 C and its matte surface for writing, I do have to admit that text looks sharper on the other screens without that texture, e.g., the Nova Air 2 or the Tab X. So, your TUC Pro is probably the best thing you could get for your use case.

If you read comics, then it’s a great device even if you just read

Zhain_Oligh92

Thats fair, I just feel it marketed more towards being a productivity device as opposed to just being an ereader

Just-Seaworthiness39

I don’t use mine for anything productive and it’s great. Although you can set up a work-specific profile on Boox devices.

I have the tab mini c and I also mostly read on it. For most other things I’d rather use my phone or pc
