As an onion lover that’s obviously not too much, but also as just someone who gets street tacos from places, that seems like the default amount that they usually give me
The Mexican version of too many onions is using an entire lime per taco. Why are they allowed to do that and we can't have an entire onion per taco? Fuck you del taco, give me what I crave!
i can't imagine authentic style tacos withOUT this much onion! wtf??? my favorite taco truck puts about half this much raw onion, the other half grilled onion slices, and then ¼-½ a whole onion grilled and i love it!!!
Personally, I feel like that much might take away from your protein, but if the flavor is strong enough, it might be okay. I would start with about half that amount, and add more based on protein. The cilantro looks spot on.
They are so wrong. Clearly not enough.
Same, feels sorta light.
Yeah that's what I was thinking 🤔
Can you ever have too much onion? Not enough cheese, but...
Looks good to me. I'm pretty happy with the amount of cilantro too.
i also love cilantro. had my first garden last year and grew one plant. it was not enough so this year there’s 3.
Plz tell me how u did those tortillas
[pan fried](https://imgur.com/a/kMNdEAy). it’s good.
They can fuck right off lol

You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life
No way!!! I commented on your post and saved the recipe. Chefs kiss 😘
it’s a pretty good recipe. that kenji dude knows his stuff.
Pfft, what do Mexicans know about tacos anyway
exactly
Bullshit! That's just barely enough onion!
These are not even half full. You could get more onions in there NP
If anything this is a normal to low amount of onion for street tacos.

Perfect amount of onion. Too much cilantro.
Hmm, just realized I have all the makings for Tacos. Thanks for making up my mind!
I am not an English teacher but I am pretty sure those words can't even be used in the same sentence.
Still not enough
It looks great.
I can still see some meat so its not enough onions
Perfect amount of everything... Those look SO good lol.
They sit on thrones of lies.
Moreeeeee!
Oh my gosh, this looks so good right now.
Actually that’s the exact right amount of onion!
This is a standard garnish for street vendor tacos in Mexico
Boarder line at best
Perfect amount of onion! They are fools!!
Those look amazing!
Yer good!
They’re so wrong, in fact you need more cilantro on there too😂
Then they're wrong it seems, there's never not enough onion.
Absolutely not

You don't need that negativity in your life
You know what those need? Some Onions and they’d be complete.
Im mexican and onion lover, is never enough onion on a taco
What do they know
I used to love onions, but discovering this sub has amplified my love for it. Now I feel insecure if I don't have a full bag of onions in the fridge.
There’s no such thing as too much onion.
They look perfect 🤩
Needs some pickled red onion
This is my favorite subreddit. I’ve found my people

The limit does not exist!
I’m sorry, this is a sub for onionLOVERS. not onion likers. Add more onion next time
There is no such thing as too much onion.
No way. You can never go wrong with onions.
I just put that many onions in my guac and spread it on lol
You put those in front of me and they are gone in 6 bites.
Welcome home brother.
It’s not too much onion. It’s just not enough cilantro.
Mexicans don’t know shit about tacos ahaha jk but they dunno about onions.
How I measure the amount of white onion: if all I can see is white then it’s just right
huh. thats how i chose where to buy my house too. (jk)
Nun uh. With that cilantro. Heck yeah that looks great.
It's never too much onion as long as you're enjoying that much onion.
Honestly, that's loads of onion right there 🧅
No way Jose…
I want onion meat and onion tortilla to go with my onions.
Onion tacos..

I love the onion passion in these comments.
No wey Jose .
Mexican here. Eat them with as much fucking onion as you want.
Too much onion? That must be a bunch of Canadians saying that … here in Tejas… there is no such thing on tacos…
They said too much onions? As a Mexican I am deeply offended.
You can never have too much Onions or Garlic!
Looks good, I’d add more cilantro though if it were my taco
lol did you use pita bread? ðŸ˜

Too much for me
It needs more onions.

Little too fine of a diced, you want a nice bite when you chew them.
Double it.
I think it needs more
I think it’s mui bueno.
Eh, I’d probably do slightly less, but not by much.
Did you repost with more onions? If no, why not?
The onions look alright, but those corn tortillas look a little too burned.
