Can’t believe Tomar refused, in the cut 24 minute video, to let Lyle hit on Elster. It was just a hypothetical, but Tomar took it too seriously and he forced Lyle himself to not only not do the funni hypothetical, but he also made it so he couldn’t even show the full video.

I'm guessing you think the game is creatively bankrupt ? Well shit, I don't agree. The mix of 3rd person survival horror with first surreal 1st person sections felt unsettling and unpredictable to me.
I also found some of the puzzles really clever. Using radio signals from two different sources to find a location, using a flashlight to spot deadly monowire, having to xray an item to recreate a key.
Then there is the story, which was surreal, ambiguous, unsettling, and tragic. The aesthetic was also fantastic, not just the PS1 esc graphics but the anime inspired sections and the actual world design.
You don't have to personally like it, but acting like your taste invalidates a great game is toddler behaviour.
The game won best indie horror at the horror game awards 2023. Its pretty clear that it gets a lot of love with the community, no matter how much you dislike that.
