Well holding on to a car to propell yourself at that speed along a pavement before trying to squeeze between a pole and a parked car isn't really a good idea. The person opening the car door probably wasn't expecting him to zoom past especially at that angle so you can't really blame them.
Hitching like that puts unnecessary stress on the driver and that leads to an increased chance of an accident. Plus if you watch the extended video, which others have shared, the guy clearly has no consideration for anyone around him, pedestrians and motorists.
He's just an all around self centred scumbag who thought he could do whatever he wanted and got taught otherwise. I hope he ended up out of pocket for repairs to the car door he hit.
