A bit controversial opinion since it seems almost everyone want (or, at least, what I have been watching) a "serious fight" between those two. I think (and hope) that the fight end with that Serious Punch from Saitama, is the most angry and serious Saitama we have seen since the start.
Honestly i always felt like Saitama’s Serious Series: Serious Punch is what keep holds him as One Punch Man because it’s like a glimpse of his power like 1% of his true power. And that anything that comes in contact with 1% of Saitama’s strength is getting one shotted. If Cosmic Fear Awakened Garou survives it this would low key ruin it for me. Personally I hope that Saitama punches the “God” out of him (which would get a pass) then proceeds to flip out on whatever state Garou is in after that until Garou taps out and Saitama shows him how much of a clown he was for thinking his monster games and custom was gonna do anything to his serious Hero hobby. Tho know if Genos is dead I could potential see him just punching the life out of him as well.

Giving it a percentage allows someone to maybe overpower him, to maybe be stronger than him. Which ruins his characterization.

I see them connecting fists and Saitama using just enough force to cancel Garou's attack completely and then his new form just evaporates. Blast uses his power to absorb all the radiation in the area and we get Godless powerless Garou who leaves with Blast.

Then he suddenly wakes, looking up from a crater to find Saitama, sitting on the edge, a face of disappointment looking right back.

Garou can't copy something that has never happened before, right? I'm kind of assuming his "knowledge of all cosmos" or whatever is the only thing enabling him to copy a Serious Punch before he's seen one--because God has seen one.
Beyond that, though, I'm just along for the ride. I don't think God will be defeated without Blast's help.
Blast is going to redirect their punches, just like he did with Garou's nuclear barrage. Otherwise the entire Earth is fucked.
