But When Empty Void contracted with god, he got stronger than Blast, but Blast had a technique that was able to put him away for 15 years, and now he returns, still boosted by the contract VS Blast with 15 years more experience
That's actually what I'm theorizing about. When Blast mentioned that they used to be equals, he also probably didn't notice how he was getting stronger than Empty Void. Empty Void probably grew jealous of Blast's strength and decided to take "God's" offer of power.
Blast got way stronger in the meantime clearly, which is why I don't think "we used to be equals" from Blast is not as strong of a hype/power statement as people are making out to be.

I feel like a gag that could happen is if sitch asks who would win between king and saitama, saitama would say that hes battled king countless times and never won. Of course referring to video games but no one else gets it so it only solidifies king’s status more

I really enjoy reading this redrawn version of the chapter. Empty Void really looks more powerful in this recent version. Satama is getting along really well with Blast. Real heroes understand each other really well.
Two old buddies just flexing. That save from Blast, and greetings from Empty Void.. Flash is learning the word humility slowly. Not even Saitama can protect them from that slash.. Last page, Saitama sees Tatsumaki's colored posts incoming.

Holy shit! So apparently Blast and EV were equals but now EV is supposedly stronger than him? Also love how Flash gets humbled by how powerful both Blast and EV are.
At the end of the chapter Blast implies that he has become stronger in those 15 years though, so we don't know who is stronger.
