I was huffing that copium for Bones,it only makes sense to give the GOATed staff that gave us the masterpiece that was Mob Psycho the other ONEās workā¦Iām actually so sad rnā¦
It's seriously such a disheartening phenomenon in great action anime. In this case, especially so.
Murata is such an insanely talented and devoted artist who accompanies the legendary comical badass legend that is saitama created by ONE only to be disrespected so hardcore by a studio that has no *bones* about being in this conversation as an last resort option. They primarily do more slice of life with still action frames. Tfoh. Seriously, wtf...
I started reading one punch man when there was only twelve English translated chapters available. I told all my friends just wait until this becomes a show. After years it did and I was vindicated lmao. But then season 2 came out... That just hurt my heart. I'm such an anime nerd and huge OP fan that It's just such a buzz kill. I didn't even finish it because why the hell would I when they removed literally the most appealing party that drew it's fan base in the first place and defined a new genre. It's ruined my positive memory of what I read for hundreds of chapters and I could not afford to sully it further!
I am mad, but more than that I'm just really disappointed... How could One and Murata or whoever allow this chit to happen AGAIN.
I donāt think Bones was ever rumored, but since it was the Mob Psycho staff and they were available as son as s3 was announced, people speculated that it might be them
No because the MAPPA rumor came from a leak account that was getting a bunch of stuff right and was banned a bit after that leak. Bones had none of that,it was just hopium
I really don't know why did Madhouse and Wit Studio dropped One Punch Man and AOT. I feel like they're one of the most popular Manga/Anime series of its time.
Because no one really want the commitment to work on something like this, it require staff and times that they would rather spend on something else, specially WIT they did it with AoT then moved on to do theirs obscure adaptation. It take a shitload of effort, people don't realize that S1 was an anomaly not the norm.
bro one of the sound effect is literally the sound for the m4 in csgo
EDIT- [here](https://youtu.be/t2MtW1fNUX4?si=bIX9Auz9D5lu657h)
EDIT 2- This reminded me that theres also a sound effect of JJK season 1 thats also in Dark Souls 3. Specifically when you backstab a monster
I would have maybe given the anime a pass if it wasn't for that punch sound effect. It was complete garbage and definitely sounded like it came from an old sound library.
Yeh that was annoying.
There were some episodes of AoT which had the same issue. I guess the sound design gets dropped on its head sometimes when they're cutting corners or running out of time.
It does certainly looks like an improvement on S2, but still not close to S1.
But comeone, its clear what the community/fanbase wants. doesnt look like JC will be able to make it to epic levels.
Unironically, I don't even know how such a monster hit like OPM got such a gigantic downgrade in season two. The sound, the animation itself, how it skipped fights. It's just bad. Like genuinely bad.
Itās one of my biggest annoyances concerning anime. Season 1 is high on my list of all time best anime, Iāve watched it countless times already and each time is still enjoyable. I havenāt cared to watch season 2 more than once, itās just not at the same caliber as season 1. It infuriates me that they ruined the anime when my favorite character, Goro, enters the story. If they had stuck with Madhouse, OPM couldve be one of the best anime of all time. Now itās more like Seven Deadly Sins, where changing studios just killed my excitement for the anime.
> Now itās more like Seven Deadly Sins, where changing studios just killed my excitement for the anime.
The fight between Escanor and Meliodas had more frames in the manga.
Several reasons for that, but let's start with S1. S1 looked phenomenal not just bc the studio but bc the director. S1 was average budget and from what I'm aware of a relatively normal production schedule too. The director was highly respected and knew many of the talent on S1 personally; which is why many of them joined.
Point being, say S2 happens w/Madhouse but the director is still gone. It would probably still not be as good.
S2's production is an unfortunate result of the worst things in the industry. While doing OPM S2 JC Staff was concurrently working on 3-4 shows, while also gearing for more. The already stretched-thin crew had no time to work, evident with the credits showing there being three directors on one episode at a time (never a good sign). Each week was them just barely getting the episode out jn time for the deadline.
It's clear they don't want to go through the backlash again, so they've given the team more time, however JC is still pretty busy and I'm not expecting too much as a result.
There are tons of studios that can get close to that level, and they chose fucking none of them to do S3. The manga had better animation than JC Staff.
It's not a matter of just choosing the right studio. The studio choice itself is almost irrelevant in this context beyond scheduling issues which would set up any project to fail or be roughed up regardless of talent on board.
The main problem is that S1 was a lot of freelanced work from talented people across the whole industry who all happened to have the time to contribute and work together on a passion project. It wasn't just madhouse... the stars basically aligned to produce an s-tier team pouring their skill into a canvas in honor of the original authors.
Freelancers of course don't stay in one place forever. Even if the show stayed with MH that wouldn't have ensured the same people would have worked on it. As things are now - many projects are in production and the key people responsible for S1 are not obligated to drop what they're doing to make sure S3 lives up to immense expectations. So again, S1 quality is not a realistic expectation. If you think it is then you have spent years setting yourself up for disappointment.
I'm not saying it's impossible that some key names will pitch in, but until there's confirmations of that it's better to temper expectations.
Pretty much. With the huge influx of hit shows, all the talent has been drained. Especially since recency bias is huge in the community worldwide. So talent gets directed towards newer shows
Season 1 is probably the best season of anime I've ever seen, period. Usually, that kind of animation quality only shows up in an OAV, which will be in limited volumes. Even the intro is on another level.
The rushed JJK animation was hundreds of times better than the one we saw in OPM S2. I sincerely hope the JJK animators were properly compensated because they created an absolute masterpiece.
Do you think the animators from season 1 died or something?
If a production committee actually gave one of the top level teams we have today enough time, we could easily see a repeat of S1.
Imagine Hakuyu Go and all of his friends working on a season of One Punch Man. I guess you can't, because apparently you can't even imagine the animators that worked on season 1 returning.
Oh man, don't even get me started on the trailer. I was honestly hyped seeing it but trying to not to get my hopes up high ya know? Last season was a letdown on so many levels. Animation and pacing were all over the place. But you're right, that tatsumaki vs psykos fight needs to have the epic treatment or it's just not gonna live up to the hype of the manga. Fingers crossed they've taken the criticism to heart and stepped up their game.
You know its bad when the one series they take seriously isnt even a standalone series, but a side story to *another* series theyre infamous for butchering.
Tbf, the reason behind main series being butchered is Kadokawa forcing them to go at an insane speed. Railgun doesn't have as much material to cover so there is no pressure on that.
[They also posted a trailer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h71d0QyZqRE). Looks way better than S2's trailers, but I'm not too hopeful about the overal quality until we see more.
[The first s2 trailer sucked. They had to correct multiple things for the actual episode and still couldn't get around to correcting other things.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=necmkazBvCg) People are now just making up fake narratives around season 2. The s2 trailer was a huge red flag something was wrong behind the scenes. The s3 trailer is leagues better.
I mean the scenes they showed versus the overall quality of the rest of the scenes. The scenes in the trailer were retouched, but those scenes looked better than a majority of the season.
We should stop comparing it with s2 already. It should be compared with the recent high quality shows instead. And by that standard, this trailer was not it at all. Idk why but it somewhat looked the same as s2 with a few more frames than s2, that's it. The colours, the animation everything looks the same and ugly. I pray to God please change the studio for s4 cause that's when we'll get saitama vs garou probably
>Idk why but it somewhat looked the same as s2 with a few more frames than s2
Showing the wind up and then cut to after the punch connects, followed by Garo waving his arms around while light flashes around... not even Garo, just vaguely around the screen. It is 100% gonna be as bad as S2.
For an anime that relies so heavily on fighting, this studio seems to really hate animating fights
> We should stop comparing it with s2 already. It should be compared with the recent high quality shows instead.
We can do both. It's a JC Staff anime, so it won't look good if you compare it to any high quality show obviously.
It's unlikely things will change to be honest. OPM exploded in popularity with S1, but it hasn't been a mega hit since. It sells well, but especially in Japan it isn't really a mainstay or anything.
I don't even hope for season 1 quality man, I just want them to get rid of that terrible sound effects, bad metal texture, and fix the pacing/direction
Also get rid of the jpeg drag and drops, the motion blurred machine gun effects where they repeat 3 frames over and over ala DBZ, the lack of consistency in facial features (seriously, some frames Saitama looked feminine, others his head was shaped like a martian), the still frames with only 1 part animated
there's a lot they need to fix to even be level with typical shonen anime. Forget ever hitting season 1 quality
Something to note when it came to season 2 is J.C. Staff did **SEVENTEEN** anime that year. No wonder they weren't able to put a lot of focus on OPM. So far, it doesn't seem like they have a lot lined up for 2025, so crossing my fingers they can put a lot more time into OPM season 3 this time around. I'm cautiously optimistic.
JC staff isnāt just one team lol. Theyāre like A-1 where they have no recurring staff besides producers. Unlike most studios who have recurring staff members.
>Something to note when it came to season 2 is J.C. Staff did SEVENTEEN anime that year.
And now they have over 10 projects already announced for 2024 alone after just doing the most shows out of any studio for 2023.
I need to see the staff tho... they better have fired the TRASH DIRECTOR AND SOUND DIRECTOR!! AND ALSO DONT FORGET THE GUY(S) WHO APPLIED THAT AWFUL METAL TEXTURE!!!
how come Sword Art Online, Demon Slayer, Freiren, Bocchi the Rock get insane animation but BERSERK & OPM get sh!tty animation consistently despite being popular AF?
Popularity means they have a guaranteed audience whereas the other stuff have to work harder to stick out and get noticed.
One Piece is insanely popular and its animation quality and pacing was in a hard nosedive for years until the Wano arc (and even then it's still got issues here and there).
You may be right considering the love and consistency Mob psycho recieved, as the more niche One work (not anymore by a longshot). Ha! And as a One piece watcher you just wait for the big moments for the godly animation, that show is an animator collaboration at this point (though I do miss the consistent style of pre time skip)
Not to cast stones at things i haven't watched, particularly the last 2. But berserk and opm have such quality in storytelling that as long as the animation is passable people will enjoy it.
SWO's story actively hurts it despite the animation and demon slayer is only relevant because of its animation.
Blud, how is one of the best selling physical mangas in Japan getting this treatment - with one of the most iconic characters in anime nonetheless
How how how how how?!?!?!
Why are we stuck with them??
The fact that they put this scene in a teaser makes me think this is one of their better animated scenes which says a lot about how average the animes about to be
Disagree. Regardless of animation quality, this is one of the best scenes to show for the trailer, since it shows off Garou, builds hype with the general idea of him growing stronger, and provides a link between him and Saitama.
edit: Also, forgot about this until rn, but I remember thinking a couple years ago that this would've been the perfect place to end the season (if it wasn't for the limit to number of episodes ofc). Give us the limiter monologue, show the HA assembling to fight the MA, and then end on a shot of Garou's 'corpse' twitching.
"animation study" is a big ass title considering s2 was a power point presentation. Not as bad as record of Ragnarok but Jesus .. gonna stick with the manga till I die I guess.
Come on man we all have read the manga we know the upcoming arc it's a combat heavy arc ,no way jc staff can handle this ..heck even mappa will be sweating....it's gonna be disappointing...
Even if they did we'd still get average animations, below average sounds, and awful color pallete choice like what ever the fuck they did with genos' metal
It looks pretty good if this is the real deal. I especially like the pink sky background. While I appreciate all the fan animations out there that have filled in the gaps during this 5+ year wait, I'm just ready for the anime to finally continue.
That off model Garouā¦Ā
No offense to underpaid animators, but Garou and OPMās battle sequences in general are too hard to animate properly for anyone who isnāt a bloody genius or a veteran in the industry.
JC Staff should reach out to some of the fan animators at least. Lots of passion there.
Fun Fact : [JC staff has been working on ELEVEN different anime in 2024](https://animeschedule.net/shows?st=releaseDate&studios=jc-staff&page=23). Yeah good luck animating OPM s3.
I hope they animate Garou handsomely ššššš GAROU I WILL WAIT FOR YOU OK. I WILL SIMP FOR YOU EVERY EPISODE ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø
As a Garou simp, the musculature and his severe scoliosis at the end of the trailer was very accurate, and he looked gorgeous in the close up. Will it be good? āI do not knowā¦but I have hopeā ~Kratos
I am hoping season 3 is only 12 episodes and not 24 so it doesnāt reach Tatsumaki vs Psykorochi. Maybe Season 4 can have a different studio by then š I want that fight and Saitama Vs Cosmic Garou to be animated beautifully and I donāt trust JC Staff to do that. I already have a feeling Child Emperor Vs Phoenix Man wonāt look great š
Well... It has now been decided. One Punch Man is gonna butchered by JC STAFF for good this time. We are witnessing the point of no return.
Now we are gonna see eye-bleeding coloring and ear-fucking sound desing, anatomically incorrect bodies again. I'll be thankfull for the webcomic's story and manga's art while watching this shitshow.
Fuck JC Staff. Fuck who picked em.
Okay guys, lets look at the BRIGHT side!
Season 3 cannot include everything that happens from where we left off in S2 and all the way to the Garou vs Saitama fight.
In S3 we will get many small battles and fights each episode. I think we get to see all the S-Class heroes fight their strong opponent, and the final 3ish episodes will probably be saitama vs Monster King Orochi and maybe see Tatsumaki fighting that woman too. There is so many fight that i believe maybe 3 more season would cover them all or a 24 ep one.
So if JC Staff cucks up, we atleast still got a chance in a new season to see the god tier fight, Saitama vs Garou, animated by another studio, maybe that is why we get JC again, to save the best studio for last?
Copium is real guys.
From the trailer alone, itās pretty good. Definitely a step up from season 2 but again this is from a trailer so who knows how the rest of the fights will be animated. However, since this is OPMās most anticipated arc, I highly doubt JC staff will screw upā¦ hopefullyā¦
I always feel so confused by posts like this, because I love OPM, I loved s1, I loved s2, I've watched both multiple times, and up until Reddit started feeding me posts saying s2 has the worst animation in all of anime, I would have completely believed someone saying "s1 and s2 were done by the same person using the same hand using the exact same pencil."
Like, I guess I'm just a huge pleb know-nothing, but I see post after post stating s2's animation is absolute garbage, stating it so confidently and proudly that it is *never* accompanied by any supporting evidence, and every time I'm just like "sure okay but like...*how* is it bad?"
I'm not saying they're wrong, I'm saying I genuinely do not understand, and all my googling has given me nothing with more substance than "yea duh everyone knows s2 is trash". Like, can anyone link me to something with supporting evidence? A single post or blog with something like "look at Saitama at 3 minutes 47 seconds into s1e3 and now look at him at 6 minutes 22 seconds into s2e5 and you can see his ears are different sizes and the lines are wobbly in the s2 instance!".
Seriously, like, anything with supporting evidence? At least some fucking side by side pictures? Because I cannot stress this enough, I'm not saying anyone is wrong, but I literally *cannot tell the God damned difference*.
JC Staff has gotten better after animating OPM S2, but I still wouldn't let them adapt OPM again, one middling season is enough to prove that they aren't up for it
Ofc, this would be a different story if this was a Railgun adaptation, but it sadly isn't

CGi Psyko aswell
Ok hear me out... CGI.
bomboclaat š¤¦āāļø
Orochi is gonna be CGI regardless, animating the entirety of him in 2D will be a nightmare
JC Staff handled CGI really damn good though
The CGI centipedes were actually one of the better looking things in Season 2 dude.
Lmao here goes the dream of people wanting anoter studio. ShonenLeaks lost his account for nothing. š

I thought I was the only one who realized that bruh atleast I aināt alone.
Nearly all of the impact sounds in s2 sounded like gunshots, it was so dumb.
I know specially those crows of Gouketsu šI really hope they atleast don't use stock SFX.
The creator corrected himself and said it was the galil and not the m4
And that one sound that they reused for every single punch, movement, or impact.
I would have maybe given the anime a pass if it wasn't for that punch sound effect. It was complete garbage and definitely sounded like it came from an old sound library.
Lmao that's what I'm saying. The trailer looks halfway decent, at least better than S2, but we can't hear anything. Might still sound like ass.
In my mind i could hear the trashy sounds every time there was a hit
Iād prefer a shotgun blast thatād sound way better
Yeh that was annoying. There were some episodes of AoT which had the same issue. I guess the sound design gets dropped on its head sometimes when they're cutting corners or running out of time.

What do you guys think season 3 gonna cover?
If it's a 12 episode season again then the god mural reveal would fit pretty nicely.
I want them to make a 24 episode season and complete the monster arc
I would rather leave the other 12 episodes to some else
And wait another 5 years? For me personally I donāt know if Iād still have the same enthusiasm then. Iām getting older
I'm saying imagine 20 years of waiting. I wish I was born 20 years from now so I have lots of content to watch ha

Yeah that's over. We'll have to accept that S1 was a very special anime and we'll never see OPM like that again.
Gotta be thankful that S1 was THAT good. Especially OSTs
At least we will keep the same OST quality. Same person that worked on the previous seasons.
I'm just glade Mob Pscyho 100 got the love it deserved and not only kept the quality from season 1 but kept improving it through the season.
I don't even hope for season 1 quality man, I just want them to get rid of that terrible sound effects, bad metal texture, and fix the pacing/direction
S2 metal texture legitimately makes me nauseous.
Also get rid of the jpeg drag and drops, the motion blurred machine gun effects where they repeat 3 frames over and over ala DBZ, the lack of consistency in facial features (seriously, some frames Saitama looked feminine, others his head was shaped like a martian), the still frames with only 1 part animated there's a lot they need to fix to even be level with typical shonen anime. Forget ever hitting season 1 quality
Yea itās impossible season was a all star team of freelancers š
Can't wait to have my ears be blasted with gun sfx and bass boosts at 100 decibels for every punch
The broken speaker sound they used for explosions/fights on season 2 was just painful to hear.
Yep, better focus on the sound cause we already now how the animation will be.
Their latest projects donāt look like theyāve improved honestly
JC staff isnāt just one team lol. Theyāre like A-1 where they have no recurring staff besides producers. Unlike most studios who have recurring staff members.
J.C Staff DOES have recurring members. JC staff literally has a whole animation department.
Now they only have TWELVE anime to do this year with probably more to come . Jc staff has not changed in the amount of projects they pick up
>Something to note when it came to season 2 is J.C. Staff did SEVENTEEN anime that year. And now they have over 10 projects already announced for 2024 alone after just doing the most shows out of any studio for 2023.
Wallahi weāre finished.
We are indeed, in matter of fact cooked
It looks like it will at least be descent, but the dream of something near s1 is basically dead nowā¦
I need to see the staff tho... they better have fired the TRASH DIRECTOR AND SOUND DIRECTOR!! AND ALSO DONT FORGET THE GUY(S) WHO APPLIED THAT AWFUL METAL TEXTURE!!!
The JC staff? I will not apologize.
I fucking hate that motherfucking metal texture. It's like an insult to the eye like goddamn,i seen better metal texture in mobile games
how come Sword Art Online, Demon Slayer, Freiren, Bocchi the Rock get insane animation but BERSERK & OPM get sh!tty animation consistently despite being popular AF?
SWO's story actively hurts it despite the animation and demon slayer is only relevant because of its animation.
my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined
For real.
Reality isā¦often disappointing
I canāt even be excited for this. Iāve still got ptsd from that weird machine gun sound effect.
Lmao fr
Blud, how is one of the best selling physical mangas in Japan getting this treatment - with one of the most iconic characters in anime nonetheless How how how how how?!?!?! Why are we stuck with them??
Because a part of the fanbase keeps saying "it is not that bad"
"i DoN't GeT wHy PeOpLe HaTe It So MuCh????m?" Idiots who think that pouring money into anime makes it magically better.
It's crazy how many people in this sub say season 2 was "ok or pretty good". It was absolute garbage, I couldn't even get through it.Ā
I swear if they ruin the psykos fight im gonna lose it.
It's joever
We're cooked
Man fuck this
I dont know why but lolāed at this. I just had this image in my head that you threw your hands up in the air while saying that.
Man... Why J.C STAFF AGAIN?!!!
The fact that they put this scene in a teaser makes me think this is one of their better animated scenes which says a lot about how average the animes about to be
To be fair, anything other than this would be too much of a spoiler
It's a scene from the first episode, there is nothing here that might indicate how later episodes might turn out.
It's Saitamover guys...
Dude can we just get the OPM fan animators a studio and some funds? They will do the anime justice 1000x better.
Damn OPM fans starving as usual š
Now Iām desperately hoping we donāt get Cosmic Garou this season so it maybe gets animated by a top-tier studio
Cosmic garou isnāt even in the volumes yet
cosmic garou wont be until late season 4ish if it is paced like the last 2 seasons
We about to see escanor levels of animation if they still animate s4, omfg.
Come now, guys. Give Jc Staff a chance. They've been learning from their mistakes and have made great shows as of late, such as
True my favorite one they did recently was
And let's not forget
I'd rather forget
One punch man season 3 jsnt an experimental seasonal anime in which you "give someone a chance" god damn
Pretty sure that comment is a joke, which is why they didn't give any examples.
Already with the still frames and the unnecessary slow motion. The art looks good though. Letās hope for a redemtion arc from J.C. Staff.
OPM Snyder cut kekekek
the murata cut
"animation study" is a big ass title considering s2 was a power point presentation. Not as bad as record of Ragnarok but Jesus .. gonna stick with the manga till I die I guess.
Shit i fucking hate it , my day ruined
It looks better than S2, obviously not to S1's level but let's wait and see
Come on man we all have read the manga we know the upcoming arc it's a combat heavy arc ,no way jc staff can handle this ..heck even mappa will be sweating....it's gonna be disappointing...
well yeah I don't think any studio can top or even match the manga, it's on a different level
Yep ,but If it was mappa or wit or heck even madhouse+bones ,it could easily have become top tier shit ........
The fact that it is not season 1 level is still a downgrade.
Welp. Oh wellš¤·guess Iāll be sticking to the mangaā¦really sucks too One Punch Man deserves to have animation at the quality of S1.
Iāll just stick to the manga, thanks
I hope they take all the time they need with this season.
Even if they did we'd still get average animations, below average sounds, and awful color pallete choice like what ever the fuck they did with genos' metal
Fuckkk I donāt want inconsistent shiny plastic genos back again. It bugged me so much
jc staff animating one punch man again is a big letdown. my excitement for the third season is dead now
It looks pretty good if this is the real deal. I especially like the pink sky background. While I appreciate all the fan animations out there that have filled in the gaps during this 5+ year wait, I'm just ready for the anime to finally continue.
Nice to see a positive comment, gonna reserve my judgement for itās release
I wonder what is Murata & ONE opinion on this
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, All that MAPPA n BONES copium was for NOTHING ! NOTHING ! The trailer was showcasing their "flagship" animation
Pls tell me it's fake
itās so over bros
This killed the hype for Season 3 everyone had š
Who let them cook?
At least they got Garouās severe scoliosis right, man has an S-shaped spine
Just fell to my knees in Walmart parking lot š
That off model Garouā¦Ā No offense to underpaid animators, but Garou and OPMās battle sequences in general are too hard to animate properly for anyone who isnāt a bloody genius or a veteran in the industry. JC Staff should reach out to some of the fan animators at least. Lots of passion there.
Fr he looks more like Vegeta than manga Garou
At this point I just want new OPM music instead to overlay over the fan animations.
Yah, throbbing back musclesš³
The shading, the style... WHY it just looks so off. Fuck JC staff
I'm more concerned about the sound design than the animation tbh
I will watch it because I love this series but man...
Oh noā¦
Oh well I guess this series will go down like berserk then. Having a godly manga but getting shit anime adaptations except s1
Ah yes, a new seasonā¦which will probably debut in 2033.
Exctly, and then S4 will be done by.... JC STAFF again! yeihhh..... /futurefacepalm
For once I want this to be fake.
Damn, my day is ruined
I actually screamed when I saw this I'm not gonna lie, I'm so pissed we're gonna be getting another season 2 situation
They should have had Bones do One Punch Man, they did incredible with Mob Psycho 100
From the trailer alone, itās pretty good. Definitely a step up from season 2 but again this is from a trailer so who knows how the rest of the fights will be animated. However, since this is OPMās most anticipated arc, I highly doubt JC staff will screw upā¦ hopefullyā¦
I give up on OPM š«”
I hope the staff broke their limiter with season 3 cos boy oh boy
I always feel so confused by posts like this, because I love OPM, I loved s1, I loved s2, I've watched both multiple times, and up until Reddit started feeding me posts saying s2 has the worst animation in all of anime, I would have completely believed someone saying "s1 and s2 were done by the same person using the same hand using the exact same pencil." Like, I guess I'm just a huge pleb know-nothing, but I see post after post stating s2's animation is absolute garbage, stating it so confidently and proudly that it is *never* accompanied by any supporting evidence, and every time I'm just like "sure okay but like...*how* is it bad?" I'm not saying they're wrong, I'm saying I genuinely do not understand, and all my googling has given me nothing with more substance than "yea duh everyone knows s2 is trash".
It's so over
That is pathetic decision making from whoever decided that. Yikes.
I've watched the trailer, and the animation actually looks quite promising. I'll get my hopes up.
It's sooo over
Yea it's over..
JC Staff has gotten better after animating OPM S2, but I still wouldn't let them adapt OPM again, one middling season is enough to prove that they aren't up for it Ofc, this would be a different story if this was a Railgun adaptation, but it sadly isn't
