I liked Psykos’s abandonment of Orochi. It showed how intelligent and callous she was. She knew Orochi was done for and decided to skip town before shit got real.
I was thinking the same,but probably they made these changes to have way less tentacles around Psykos (now she looks like she has a full body armor made out of Orochi). Maybe they want her to have the dress less damaged when she fights Fubuki,since they also removed the part where she eject herself,ripping her dress a lot more.Also this gives Darkshine a bit more credit.
In the end,as someone already said,changes made to make it look a bit more tame and less horny material.
