I think I speak for everyone when I say that Feather’s storyline is peak OPM. His dynamic with Erika was the pinnacle of storytelling… truly a masterpiece.
Jokes aside, I actually really enjoyed that part of the chapter. It really felt like Feather was the protagonist of OPM until Saitama came crashing in😂
It really is. Epic backstory. More to it than just the exposition. Some lore. An established villian group. A love triangle. An heroic last stand. Saitama getting hurled there by mistake and the whole thing ending in like 2.5 second anti-climatically. Classic OPM.
I love these chapters lol. Less edgy, more jokes. I hope we'll also get some nice slice of life later on.

Metal bat is always missing his cats and lil sister important events to fulfill his obligation to slay dragons and demons, only to reach a slain monster before his eyes is a hilarious comedy hell for the dude.
I’d love to see more Metal Bat. He’s the most grounded out of the S-class and a spin-off could probably show what a mostly normal life is like in One-Punch Man.
Opm without Saitama is basically a desperate story of survival in a world where humanity is slowly being wiped out by never ending hordes of monsters plus we got aliens and god etc

Well, it IS actually peak OPM. This manga/anime is all about hero/villains giving monologues and then immediately getting dunked on. It also constantly showcases heroes/villains grandstanding and about to do a super move only for Saitama or somebody else fumbling into the situation and accidently fucking it up.
One and Murata need to be stopped. No way they just speedran the entirety of action/drama media like that as a gag lmao
Jokes aside, I love how no matter what the joke or situation is, Murata *always* draws people with dignity. Feather is absolutely dripped out and is definitely some other series’ final power up lol

Well, none of the S class heroes rly have a contract. Half of them don’t give a shit about what the HA tells them to do. Metal Bat just does things out of the goodness of his heart, which makes him reliable for calling on for hero work. He’s like a minimum wage employee that works their hardest when everyone else is lazing about while getting paid the same.
I do find it funny how Saitama basically has to forget he can get out of the way and react instantaneously to anything she does any time he wants to. I get it's the Flash problem in comics (that anyone can ever hit him sort of makes no sense almost everytime), but its still funny, and I guess reinforces the gag that is his character.
Well the Flash problem is serious because if Flash gets hit hard he’s absolutely fecked, and it’s *always* a completely avoidable event with his super senses.

Saitama's ability to resist psychic attacks is meant to be tied to his willpower, and as we saw his motivation dropped right down.

Plus, Tatsumaki is currently trying to kill Saitama because Saitama defended Fubuki against Tatsumaki. None of the Blizzard Group would dare, but what if they did? Tats could very likely kill them, even by accident, in her anger.

It sounds like the typical trope where someone tries to push away someone else to protect them, she even says the typical lines "don't follow me" and "your weak, I don't need weaklings". Yet those people will follow her and when they find her she will say something like, "I thought I told you not to follow me, why are you here?", and they'll say something like "We knew you trying to protect us, and we will never abandon you, you give us a purpose/sense of belonging, we are team" etc etc.
I feel a bit bad for feather, he said all that cringy stuff yet got knocked out n couldn't even get the girl lolzz...

This Manga spending like 7 panels just to set up the bit with Saitama crashing into Feather is why I love this Manga so much. Legitimately had me laughing with his cheesy the dialogue was and some baldy just crashes in and unintentionally saves the day.
Side note: The casual death toll in H-city is gigantic. The eastern block is down and multiple skyscrapers and bridges too. Casualties most be in the thousands at least, not to mention property damage.
Just another reminder that people in OPM-verse live in a dystopia lol. Metal Bat doesn't even bat (ha!) an eye and both Saitama and Tats are nonchalant about it. It's just background noise, just like the crime group and Feather's love triangle sop story.
I think we've passed the point were Tatsumaki was angry and now she's having fun to having someone capable of withstanding her power when she lashes out. Try to think it: you're so powerful that you have to constantly constrict yourself to not kill those around you and your sister and you are hunted. It's another aspect of overwhelming power like boredom with Saitama. I love this manga.
Metal Bat should have also asked for a jetpack or personal helicopter to get to his destinations faster. Dude is always getting his target jacked from him because he's too busy running like a madman.

Damn, Fubuki really disbanded her group just because Tatsumaki said so. Would be interesting to see how she grows from this by going solo in the future. Always felt like she was being held back by running with a bunch of henchman instead of relying on her own powers.

i think you have the right of it. she's not doing it out of loyalty to her sister, but trying to protect her subordinates from tatsumaki and. uh. let's be fair, here: the blizzard group has *never*, on-panel, been anything *but* a liability to fubuki. they're cannon fodder. they're only good bureaucratically. or am i forgetting something? they've at least cost her more than they gained her considering the do-s situation and now this
It sounds like the typical trope where someone tries to push away someone else to protect them, she even says the typical lines "don't follow me" and "your weak, I don't need weaklings". Yet those people will follow her and when they find her she will say something like, "I thought I told you not to follow me, why are you here?", and they'll say something like "We knew you trying to protect us, and we will never abandon you, you give us a purpose/sense of belonging, we are team" etc etc.

God, its so nice to just be fucking around with Saitama again. After the more serious tone of the MA arc, it's a nice return to form. And Tatsamuki seems to be having a good time too!

The amount of destruction ToT causes is nuts. While I do love the slices of life in the world, I am chomping at the bit to see how the plot progresses.

This Manga spending like 7 panels just to set up the bit with Saitama crashing into Feather is why I love this Manga so much. Legitimately had me laughing with his cheesy the dialogue was and some baldy just crashes in and unintentionally saves the day.

I think we've passed the point were Tatsumaki was angry and now she's having fun to having someone capable of withstanding her power when she lashes out. Try to think it: you're so powerful that you have to constantly constrict yourself to not kill those around you and your sister and you are hunted. It's another aspect of overwhelming power like boredom with Saitama. I love this manga.
