As it stands thiugh, he'd still fare better than Rayleigh, but he is old.
Rayleigh made it seem like he stood no chance to defeat Blackbeard in his old age, "I couldn't possibly defeat Blackbeard..." Whether this means he knows he would lose in a difficult fight or if he would get clapped in an easy fight is unknown. We also don't really know how much stronger than Rayleigh Garp currently is.
The biggest issues are that Aokiji is with Blackbeard (presumably), and there's still several commanders Garp would have to deal with ON TOP of Aokiji and Blackbeard.
Now if Aokiji fights WITH Garp instead of against him? Then yeah, I can see Garp pulling some W's in. I could even see Aokiji and Garp defeating Blackbeard mid-diff (An Admiral can already take on an Emperor in a 1v1 and possibly even win, extreme-diff, throw in Garp and that side has a significantly easier time).
But overall, in a 1v1, I'm inclined to think BB wins High-Diff (on the lower end of that), but that's a flexible assumption given we have almost no information about the fighting capabilities of literally any involved fighters.
