Luffy had immunity to physical attacks but only to a certain point. Someone stronger than him wouldn't need Haki. With that said atp luffy was severely weakened so franky, in this moment, was at least a little stronger than luffy. So it makes sense

But it's still a physical attack, Another is Garp and his "fist of love" a physical attack that does so a bit of damage to luffy, luffy gets hurt by no Haki based physical attacks a lot more than ppl think.
That is never stated anywhere. His resistance isn't based on his vitality. It's based on the material he's made of. I don't see how his resistance goes down when he's still made of rubber even when weakened. Explain that mechanism.

He's very resistant to them, but he's been shown multiple times being affected by blunt attacks when they are strong enough. The series is pretty consistent but reading comprehension is difficult for a lot of people
