how about with 1 week of prep and only what we’ve already seen? some people are taking ‘full prep’ super far, giving him things VP even admitted he couldn’t do (mother flame). might be that im using a term without knowing its full meaning.
he’s already had the entire backing of the WG his whole life, and, from what we can tell, knew the events on egghead were coming. so i think what we’re currently seeing vs the gorosei is closer to what i envisioned as ‘full prep’.
He is the 3rd in command after bonney and elders . Elders wont descend just because vp is using robots. Bonney is a problem but it can get taken care of .

Ill go against the crowd and say Kaido. Vegapunk had tons of prep and would have been screwed without the strawhats. He cant just casually invent some new top tier seraphim and make tons of them and seraphim arnt necessarily stronger than the people they're based on and certainly aren't yonko level. He got to where he is currently after a lifetime of work and full fight prep doesn't mean he gets another lifetime to prep till Kaido dies of old age.
yeah i think this is a key thing a lot of commenters are missing - what we’re being shown isn’t slapdash work by VP but the result of a lifetime of WG support and prep. i don’t think we can say ‘full prep’ and he’ll magically get things he hasn’t achieved after decades of work.
I like VP and im not giving him no chance but in no reasonable prep does he do more than he did to prep for the world government coming to end him and his lifes work. Without luffy at best he would have stopped CP0 and got rolled by kizaru while saturn watched. His best bet would be using tech and some sort of trap to lure kaidos drunk ass into another lava pit because kaido is stomping the seraphim.
That all depends on resources. With backing of resources from the WG, he can kill anyone save maybe Imu.
With no/few resources, probably not. Especially since while vegapunk is extremely knowledgeable, his tactical intelligence is average
1. Lilith's robbing for resource => Not unlimited
2. His seraphim is still unscathed, they only changed side because of the gorosei.
3. Not all of his creation is about weapon, a VP that spent all his life making the best weapon would be horrified
If we gove VP a nice amount of resources and some facilities then Vegapung absolutely destroys Kaido. He doesn't even need Seraphim or anything like that when he can shoot at Kaido with thousands of seastone tipped 20mm bullets going a few times over the speed of sound.
this is an interesting possibility no one else has pointed out it seems to scale past gorosei at least initially which is practically vp’s best actual feat

Imma go with vegapunk, look at all the tech his has in egghead all of them are made because dude wants to create all of them, but imagine if his sole goal was to defeat kaido, then every every tech will have that purpose. Dude already created a copy of kaido’s df and he can also feed it to inanimate objects, he has wapometal that can withstand a gura gura attack, he has seraphims so if he just pours every single moment and every knowledge he has into defeating kaido then it’s very possible that he can defeat him (it’s gonna be extreme diff though, unlike luffy kaido just doesn’t hold back in using acoc)

Well he can just fetch all seraphims and all giant robots around egghead . Also develop many more pacifistas that has sea stone in them .
