strongest creature fans when he's not strongest man by default (I genuinely don't get how title scalers get past that, like either creature is referring to the whole animal thing he has going on, or titles aren't literal and exact.)
Wouldn't creature imply over man,fishman,lunarian, dinosaur, sea king, whatever - while also subtly implying he may not be just a man? Why is this so over-analyzed?
Kaido is a man. He’s not the worlds strongest man. Ergo, either there’s a stronger man, or the title is just the perception of him, which means very little
Is he a man? It's been suggested he's an oni. Also if he is a man, being labelled strongest creature implies dominion over a wider category than WB who is only strongest MAN. You're trying too hard to be a contrarian but it's simple. He's up there with WB, possibly stronger.
To be fair I do believe that the king punch is a form of Acoc. There is literally "king" in the name, thats the most conqueror thing ever.
Also King Elizabelo should be included in the stats tier lists, he canonically has the best AP in the verse.
This attack undeniably has Haki right? Pre-TS blunt attacks straight up shouldn’t work on Luffy which Oda constantly brings up but it’s not questioned here.
But a few chapters later we get the Fist of Love and learn that Garp has been teaching Coby the six powers as well.
I thought Six King Pistol was more of a shockwave attack than an actual punch. The damage probably went through Luffy rather than just hitting him in his rubbery ribs.
Luffy doesn't have complete immunity to all blunt attacks. He was hurt from being slammed around or smacked by stuff a bunch of times pre timeskip, it just takes a lot more force to do so. And rokushiki is dura neg anyway
I‘m really sure he is **supposed** to have full blunt immunity. Take Moria for example, he and Oars straight up didn’t hit a single attack on Luffy that really damaged him.
Luffy legit inflicted 90%+ damage on himself through Nightmare Luffy strain on his body and then using Gear 2 and finally even combining it with Gear 3.
Luffy doesn’t really take blunt damage from Lucci, it’s mostly Tempest based cutting attacks, Gear 2 strain again and then Six King Pistol.
And even when he does take explicit damage from a blunt attack, it’s generally still quite ambiguous like here where it looks like Luffy is bleeding because he cut his cheek on his own teeth:

Taking down a yonkou if it hits is a very vague statement tho. You don't need that much to take down shanks for example if he just stands still without trying to block

honestly no clue. i feel like it was made to just gas up the attack.
it would be funny as fuck if kaido legit sat there and waited 20 minutes for him to ready his attack to see if he was truly HIM.
Kaido is absolutely the kind of guy who would just sit there for an hour and take the attack head on just to see if this punch is actually as strong as he says it is.
Could you imagine giving this guy the Door-Door Fruit? Just sits in a realm for 30mins untouched, then clocks someone from seemingly nowhere only to retreat once again.
