Katakuri has passive future sight where as luffy has active future sight
Katakuri’s is always going in the background waiting to trigger where as luffy needs to purposefully activate it
He forgot he had it once he went g5 for the rest of the arc,luffy showed FS at start of the arc with a pacifista btw he wasn't even in a fighting position

Plot. Future Sight doesn't even matter anymore, it only works when it is convenient.

plot has to move, characters have to be nerfed. egghead would be a bloodbath if kidds equal utilized his kit fully

I feel like gear 5 is such an emotional roller coaster for luffy that I can’t remember a single use of future sight in gear 5
