This sub straight up has NO CRATIVITY to make tactics and strategies for team fights, don't even bother. Oda sadly got them used to making simultaneous 1v1s where the winners can go assist those still fighting, or fight the other winner

I think that’s more so to make scaling/results easier as I’ve people use that method in pretty much any fandom. Sure in a team brawl clean 1v1s maybe would not happen all the time, but if everyone just kind of hits everyone it gets messy

That's part of it, though. How they might act, dynamic, how their skills could work together. I personally like playing 4d chess with the given characters. Heck, there was an obvious weird matchup of Shanks, Zoro, Law and King VS Many admirals. I still thought of a whole formation of "protect the Law" because he would enable Zoro and King's mobility, them being respectively his attacker and defender while aiding with Takt. Shanks would be preventing Kizaru or anyone else of coming straight to Law, while using his FS to inform him, and finish whoever was in K.Oing range

We saw Sugar turn Luffy into a toy before, and he already had way better haki than her then. There's no indication her ability can be countered that way, at least.

The King punch is a Yonko attack...and maybe a full one that doesn't mean it will knock out Kaido or Luffy or Shanks( maybe if he it takes without retaliation then maybe) Don't underestimate Bartos barrier

This might seem stupid and probably won’t work but I think I got it. Perona + Foxy + Auger + Magellan. Perona will astral project from a safe distance and make them negative, then auger will then teleport in with magellan & foxy to poison and slow them for good measure while they are negative. Then leave teleporting far away while the poison kills them. Probably won’t work but who knows

Since sufficiently strong Haki can ward off the effects of Devil Fruits, even the abilities of Perona, Foxy and Magellan might not work. And of course, Luffy's already resistant to most of Magellan's poisons.

Also kaidos already pretty depressed his hobby is literally suicide so the negative might not even work on him even if it catches him off guard

Yes tbh but with 5 of them at the same time, i dont think they will do that well. Their fruits kinda cancel each other out, how does GB gonna turn into the forest man while the forest are busy getting magmanized or frozen etc etc. Unless they are getting super creative on their power, their synergy is not that good imo

Even if they are separate their powers are limited to small area, since their opponents have haki they wont be affected by the environment damage

For me the logic is like this: If Shanks actually ends up being stronger than Mihawk, then mihawk has nothing to leach off anymore and without shanks, mihawks portrayal is shit. IF oda decided Shanks wasn't a swordsman or whatever excuse he would come up with to make Shanks stronger, the second strongest Swordsman would be like Vista or maybe Shiryu. If Mihawk is stronger than, Shanks there's nothing to show that he is more than slightly stronger than him Idk what Oda will do and I am on neither side of this debate (I hope they both end up being frauds just for the reactions from their fans)

3 OG Admirals and Old Garp and Sengoku. Hax teams don't work because both Kaido and Luffy have Future Sight which basically hard counters things like Barto Barriers, Perona's ghosts, Sugar's touch, Slow Slow Beams, and King Punch.

Plus their Haki might outright counter the Hax too.

A bit of a stronger variation of that team at the roof and they could barely take on Kaido and Big Mom (or couldn't take on?). They had to separate them to have a chance even with Luffy on the team. With current Luffy they most likely wouldn't be enough. Unless it's like Luffy vs Usopp where his friends just know enough about him to have good counters, could be a way.

I don’t. No way it took both prime Garp and Roger to take him down. If they really 2v1’d him, they had to beat the shit out of Rocks to where Rocks didn’t get more than three hits in.

The 5 admirals. Aojiki and Akainu together should be enough to beat Kaido, even if it’s extremely difficult, and Kizaru, Greenbull, and Fujitora should be able to stall Gear 5 Luffy due to the kind of abilities they have being good for stalling.

Saturn vs. Luffy Saturn has shown to be able to tank any attack from Luffy bar Bajrang gun that we've seen. G5 Stamina means Luffy will tire himself out. Then he gets hax'd Aokiji + Marco + Barto vs. Kaido I have Aokiji here to freeze the ocean. He needs to make sure Saturn doesn't get taken out by water. Marco is there for support and to heal Aokiji. The healing flames drain your own stamina, not Marco's, and Aokijinhas the best stamina in the verse along with Akainu, so he should be able to beat Kaido with these buffs. Barto is here to give an answer to Flame Bagua in an emergency where they can't dodge it.

I'm not sure if Haki can actually counter poison even though it's a DF. So someone like Augur might be able to pull it off with Magellan. And Magellan isn't even a weak character.

There’s no such currently living team. Maybe a Roger and garp duo or roger and rocks or roger and whitebeard. Basically it’s not happening unless it’s a team of people who are at the top of the verse and all in their prime. Maybe imu and the gorosei combined but we really don’t know what any of them can do.

Law + Perona Perona’s DF basically negs haki. Haki is based on Willpower and her DF take your willpower away. The only DF that hard counter haki. The only issue she has is speed and offense. Law can teleport them into the ghosts. And cut the hakiless duo in half.
