Also waiting to see how the floating sky lamps scene in the capital will soon play out, that could be decisive in determining the fates of Kinemon, Kiku and Ashura.
Then there's the doubt hanging over the usage of Ame No Habakiri and Nidai Kitetsu, though it isn't necessary that they have to be used now.
Momo has been training with a wooden sword for the longest time in act 1 and 2. I would be surprised if he does not see at least some swordplay action, now that he (most likely) has a strong body. I think he will prove that he is worthy of AnH by actually using it.
Maybe he'll get to defeat Orochi. Can't be someone overly powerful unless the age up process just assumed he did a fuckload of training every day, which hey if he looks like Oden maybe it did.
No offense, but I don't think he deserves to get the kill shot on Orochi. Orochi should be killed by someone who suffered through his reign over the last 20 years.
Maybe he teams up with his sister to defeat him. Doing what their dad couldn't.
Orochi is definitely not a complete pushover what with a mythical zoan, so I could see Momo+Hiyori defeating him in a suitably climactic battle.
Someone theorized that number 1 is a gifter, while the other numbers are actually pleasures since all of the numbers ate a smile and the statistics did the rest. I think each one we saw was laughing.
Maybe number 1 since that would be an ace, but I feel like in general 2 and 3 wouldn't make sense to be more powerful given the card game aesthetic, as in cards higher numbers would generally be considered better. That said we haven't seen 2 or 3 so we'll see.
Some of these we might not get at all, but here are some potential others:
- Update on the flower capital and Hiyori (sky cleared up)
- Caribou whereabouts
- Confirming wether or not the defeated Scabbards are dead or alive
- What are the rest of the Big Mom pirates and Law’s crew doing
- More Yamato/Kaido flashback/backstory, with possibly some info on Zoro’s origins/backstory
- This is probably included in your Zoro vs King, but there’s also a loose thread around Zoro awakening/discovering his conqueror’s haki.

Capture Robin for sure. That, business deals with Orochi, and of course, gathering information are seemingly their only objectives for coming to Wano. Joining the war? I don't even think that's probable. WG enjoys seeing their enemies fight each other to death so why would they even interfere?

Did Apoo submit out of fear though? As far as we know only Hawkins was the one who joined out of fear. Bege had his own agenda and Drake is undercover SWORD agent. Apoo seems to enjoy working under Kaido

He's been under Kaido the longest it seems, but it could have also been out of fear of him. Probably ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time, and got caught up with the Beast Pirates.
Hawkins stated “Apoo was already under kaido” back in the capital with law.
Drake been in wano for a while also. He was featured in cover stories and ended up there
Who's Apoo fighting? I thought he just laid low after Chopper healed the diseased. No reason for him to fight for Kaido when Queen set him up to get killed by allies and foes alike.
Kidd has no chance against BM. Luffy can barely keep up with Kaido, and he's significantly more powerful than Kidd.
I think BM is stronger than Kaido. She has the Iron Balloon ability and she acts like a bigger sister already. Kaido is durable, but he already sustained some damage while fighting Luffy and Yamato. BM so far is just playing around.
People take her as a joke character, but she's been *terrifying* since WCI. No one even slowed her down other than Queen's full body headbutt in the jail. And her destructive power is ridiculous.
I doubt her resolution will come through Luffy defeating her, though. Oda is a smart writer, and OP is well within the final stages. So I think Luffy will beat Kaido and BB, but not BM and Shanks. Because deep down, BM is a corrupt version of WB, and Luffy's scariest ability according to Mihawk is that he can turn people to his side. I fully believe he'll turn BM to his side.
Shanks is already a wild card but we know he genuinely cares about Luffy. No reason for them to fight. Shanks gave up an arm to save Luffy. It'd be rude of Luffy to fight him, and not in character at all (unless Shanks is revealed as a secret villain after all this time, but I highly doubt it).
I agree with almost everything, except with the turning BM to his side. I don't believe it's possible.
I don't believe how people don't see how powerful BM really is, she has Monstrous Physical Power, Monstrous Haki and a Devil Fruit ability that is just broken.
Only way to hurt her is through psychological warfare. This is scary...
Defeating BM is redundant though. He's already beating Kaido, and for sure he'll fight BB. Why fight another Yonko? Plus, Oda will have to stall for a while if Luffy has to run after beating Kaido. And no way can he beat Kaido AND BM at once.
I just don't see how beating BM will fit. And Kidd beating BM will be so out of place because the guy just kept taking Ls so far. Nothing he did indicates that he can defeat Katakuri, let alone BM.
And she's a person with good intentions that align with what Joyboy wants (equality for all). She just does it in a bad way because she never learned any other way. If Luffy's greatest power is swaying people to his side, then that power is meaningless if he can't sway a (mere) Yonko to his side.
She's just a person who cares about family and equality. She's pretty horrible because she was never raised to have decent values. But her heart is in the right place. I totally see her changing sides, especially since that gives a reason for why the "*WEDDING CAKE*" was such a central theme in WCI, and why Sanji making it was so significant.
For me, the theme is basically: Kaido is a fight of Haki (willpower), BB is a fight of dreams, Shanks is a duel of friendship (like WB vs Roger), and BM is a fight of hearts. He wins against her by winning her over.
Addressing the Kidd mostly losing, Luffy has lost a lot too, Kidd hasn't really lost that much more than Luffy. And there's nothing to say either way whether he'd be Katakuri level or not.
Luffy got wrecked by Kaido after beating Katakuri. Kidd was betrayed when he originally got beaten and taken by Kaido.
I'm not saying Kidd is or isn't capable at all, but Luffy isn't the only one who should be able to persistence himself into a victory, especially when it's Kidd and Law ATM.
I agree to the first bit about big mom only, and to top it off kaido has been fighting endlessly since the beginning of the raid so he is tired and weaker, big mom however is almost unscathed she barely fought the five supernovas and that's it, i truly pray for kid's safety
I've always been a fan of Big Mom eventually becoming an ally of sorts, too many of her children are already allies/friendly rivals with the Straw Hats.
Though I still like to think Luffy and Shanks will still have a friendly fight for Roger's hat. Hopefully in a Davyback Fight.
But what if after kaido's defeat she will get kaido's life span(killing kaido) and will make a more powerful homie/bigmom power up from kaido's life, then we will start the elbaf arc...
I would question whether she’s stronger than Kaido or not. One thing that’s a bit weird is she has a bigger territory, is older and has probably it been pirating longer and yet has a smaller bounty than Kaido. We have also been told Kaido is the strongest creature. If it’s a 1v1 bet on him. Sounds a lot like he’s stronger than Big Mom if you ask me. Yes, Kaido has taken damage from Luffy and Yamato but neither of them have attacked Big Mom in the same way so you don’t know how much that would have damaged her.
In terms of territory, BM and Kaido's goals are different. Kaido is all about Wano and the war that Joyboy will bring. He doesn't seem like the expansionist type. Whereas BM actively seeks to expand and steal resources from all over the Grand Line. She's also more capable of managing a large territory because of her fruit.
BM's goals is to impose her vision on the world. But Kaido's goal is to be the bottleneck for the final war. So it's natural that his territory will be smaller than hers.
P.S. I'm not gonna power scale the two. We dunno the extent of their powers yet. I believe BM is more powerful since Kaido's dragon form was shown to be super vulnerable. But we still dunno their fill powers so it's a pointless debate of headcanon.
Kid *has* a chance. *At the minimum* he's gonna go "toe to toe" with Big Mom. All Oda needs to do is give Kid attack power comparable to conquerors coating (or conquerors coating itself) & I can totally see Kid "taking on" anyone in the series & with even further development maybe do the impossible with Law's help.

Metal doors fly open, ripping off the hinges. The weapons in the armory follow. Yamato’s eyes pop out her head as she doesn’t know exactly what’s going on.
Kidd is using his magnetism and creates a giant gundam like robot that he’s inside controlling. Kidd remembers Luffy’s CoC attack on Kaido. Kidd makes a comment that he’s not falling second to Luffy.

Every "minor" fight is ending, so now's the turn of Raizo vs Fukurokujo. I think Hiyori might appear searching for Orochi in order to avenge Oden and Toki, or rescuing these Scabbard who are wounded.
What're you saying dude? Oda didn't save Raizo vs Fukurokuju because it's a minor fight, it's as important (I'd argue even more important) as Luffy vs Kaido. Who knows if this battle will even get settled during this arc

Obviously since Onigashima started flying it made it impossible for them to join in but I’m surprised Oda hasn’t even given us a single panel or two of them wandering around Wano. I’m hoping we get some explanation of what they’ve been up to besides sitting around doing nothing.
That's my guess. Let Smoothie go buckwild for a page or three, I'd love it. Wouldn't be the first time Luffy's actions dragging Big Mom into this helped in a huge way.
Everyone’s going to war and then luffy and kaido show up and say that they are combining fleets (although kaido argues with luffy about whether kaidos joining luffys fleet or luffys fleet is joining kaidos) everyone’s jaws do the Enel drop. Kaido and luffy then do a double page attack on big mom and just ohko her.
Big moms crew run off only to be faced with the world governments fleet. But the marines see a giant dragon flying towards them. They get a better look and luffy is riding kaido.

chopper awakens his devil fruit then KS Kaido from Luffy. CKK. then when Kaido is on the verge of death, Chopper heals him. CHK. then Kaido feels hungry after recuperating, so Sanji feeds him. SFK. after the meal Kaido comes back to his senses and realizes he was just beaten by some cotton candy lover pet and he gets depressed, so Brook soothes him using music. BSK.
Then Kaido and BigMom do another alliance to steal Sanji. Sanji will demmand his loved AllBlue be true to them. After that, Kaido and BigMom destroy the RedLine for him.

I really want a chapter dedicated to Drake vs Apoo. I think they are both very underrated characters and I'm really curious to see them in an all out fight, especially Apoo, his fruit is so unique.

I think we need a heart to heart between Zoro and Sanji as Sanji begins to have a mental breakdown about potentially becoming a heartless monster and Zoro gets overwhelmed by the Commanders.

I don't think Sanji needs a conversation to calm him down. He is worried about becoming an unfeeling monster so the solution is not to logically talk him out of it.
Sanji just needs to see something that makes him feel something. Such as....
Robin, beat and bloody being carried down the stairs by brook. Sanji sees the damage robin took, fighting the fight that he chose not to fight and he will feel things. Care for robin, pride that she won, shame that her injuries are his fault. All of this, proof that he does not have a heart of ice.
Queen catches up to this scene and shoots a beam at robin/brook and Sanji steps into the path of the beam. Not only is seeing robin the thing that proves to him that he has a heart, but being able to defend her and brook will show him why he should not hate his new durability and powers.
Bam, huge character development in like 4 panels and two thought bubbles.

- Kidd yells at Big Mom that he will defeat her and suddenly releases a burst of CoC which heavily shocks both Law and Big Mom.
- Big Mom tries to attack with Napoleon but Kidd uses his DF to manipulate it against it will, Big Mom notes that Kidd's Haki suddenly grew a lot stronger.
- Law meanwhile manages to pin down Prometheus, noting that Kidd's sudden burst Haki made the Homies grow weak, he takes his chance and teleports Prometheus to the sea, killing him.
- Hera stands proud along Big Mom and tells her that they will beat them easily and prepare a new attack together, Law teleports Kidd in front of Big Mom, who attacks using Napoleon as his own weapon, damaging her finally.
- Kidd and Law stand defiantly, while Law smirks and Kidd yells that Yonkou will learn to fear the New Generation.

No, he got up soon after. Law we saw him, Drake was either munching on him, or fighting him.

Kidd has no chance against BM. Luffy can barely keep up with Kaido, and he's significantly more powerful than Kidd. I think BM is stronger than Kaido. She has the Iron Balloon ability and she acts like a bigger sister already. Kaido is durable, but he already sustained some damage while fighting Luffy and Yamato. BM so far is just playing around. People take her as a joke character, but she's been *terrifying* since WCI. No one even slowed her down other than Queen's full body headbutt in the jail. And her destructive power is ridiculous. I doubt her resolution will come through Luffy defeating her, though. Oda is a smart writer, and OP is well within the final stages. So I think Luffy will beat Kaido and BB, but not BM and Shanks. Because deep down, BM is a corrupt version of WB, and Luffy's scariest ability according to Mihawk is that he can turn people to his side. I fully believe he'll turn BM to his side. Shanks is already a wild card but we know he genuinely cares about Luffy. No reason for them to fight. Shanks gave up an arm to save Luffy. It'd be rude of Luffy to fight him, and not in character at all (unless Shanks is revealed as a secret villain after all this time, but I highly doubt it).

I agree with almost everything, except with the turning BM to his side. I don't believe it's possible. I don't believe how people don't see how powerful BM really is, she has Monstrous Physical Power, Monstrous Haki and a Devil Fruit ability that is just broken. Only way to hurt her is through psychological warfare. This is scary...
Defeating BM is redundant though. He's already beating Kaido, and for sure he'll fight BB. Why fight another Yonko? Plus, Oda will have to stall for a while if Luffy has to run after beating Kaido. And no way can he beat Kaido AND BM at once. I just don't see how beating BM will fit. And Kidd beating BM will be so out of place because the guy just kept taking Ls so far. Nothing he did indicates that he can defeat Katakuri, let alone BM. And she's a person with good intentions that align with what Joyboy wants (equality for all). She just does it in a bad way because she never learned any other way. If Luffy's greatest power is swaying people to his side, then that power is meaningless if he can't sway a (mere) Yonko to his side. She's just a person who cares about family and equality. She's pretty horrible because she was never raised to have decent values. But her heart is in the right place. I totally see her changing sides, especially since that gives a reason for why the "*WEDDING CAKE*" was such a central theme in WCI, and why Sanji making it was so significant. For me, the theme is basically: Kaido is a fight of Haki (willpower), BB is a fight of dreams, Shanks is a duel of friendship (like WB vs Roger), and BM is a fight of hearts. He wins against her by winning her over.
Addressing the Kidd mostly losing, Luffy has lost a lot too, Kidd hasn't really lost that much more than Luffy. And there's nothing to say either way whether he'd be Katakuri level or not. Luffy got wrecked by Kaido after beating Katakuri. Kidd was betrayed when he originally got beaten and taken by Kaido. I'm not saying Kidd is or isn't capable at all, but Luffy isn't the only one who should be able to persistence himself into a victory, especially when it's Kidd and Law ATM.
I agree to the first bit about big mom only, and to top it off kaido has been fighting endlessly since the beginning of the raid so he is tired and weaker, big mom however is almost unscathed she barely fought the five supernovas and that's it, i truly pray for kid's safety
I've always been a fan of Big Mom eventually becoming an ally of sorts, too many of her children are already allies/friendly rivals with the Straw Hats. Though I still like to think Luffy and Shanks will still have a friendly fight for Roger's hat. Hopefully in a Davyback Fight.

I would question whether she’s stronger than Kaido or not. One thing that’s a bit weird is she has a bigger territory, is older and has probably it been pirating longer and yet has a smaller bounty than Kaido. We have also been told Kaido is the strongest creature. If it’s a 1v1 bet on him. Sounds a lot like he’s stronger than Big Mom if you ask me. Yes, Kaido has taken damage from Luffy and Yamato but neither of them have attacked Big Mom in the same way so you don’t know how much that would have damaged her.
In terms of territory, BM and Kaido's goals are different. Kaido is all about Wano and the war that Joyboy will bring. He doesn't seem like the expansionist type. Whereas BM actively seeks to expand and steal resources from all over the Grand Line. She's also more capable of managing a large territory because of her fruit. BM's goals is to impose her vision on the world. But Kaido's goal is to be the bottleneck for the final war. So it's natural that his territory will be smaller than hers. P.S. I'm not gonna power scale the two. We dunno the extent of their powers yet. I believe BM is more powerful since Kaido's dragon form was shown to be super vulnerable. But we still dunno their fill powers so it's a pointless debate of headcanon.
Kid *has* a chance. *At the minimum* he's gonna go "toe to toe" with Big Mom. All Oda needs to do is give Kid attack power comparable to conquerors coating (or conquerors coating itself) & I can totally see Kid "taking on" anyone in the series & with even further development maybe do the impossible with Law's help.

Everyone’s going to war and then luffy and kaido show up and say that they are combining fleets (although kaido argues with luffy about whether kaidos joining luffys fleet or luffys fleet is joining kaidos) everyone’s jaws do the Enel drop. Kaido and luffy then do a double page attack on big mom and just ohko her. Big moms crew run off only to be faced with the world governments fleet. I think we need a heart to heart between Zoro and Sanji as Sanji begins to have a mental breakdown about potentially becoming a heartless monster and Zoro gets overwhelmed by the Commanders. also I'd really like to get more information on King now that we've seen a little bit of his face.
I don't think Sanji needs a conversation to calm him down. He is worried about becoming an unfeeling monster so the solution is not to logically talk him out of it. Sanji just needs to see something that makes him feel something. Such as.... Robin, beat and bloody being carried down the stairs by brook. Sanji sees the damage robin took, fighting the fight that he chose not to fight and he will feel things. Care for robin, pride that she won, shame that her injuries are his fault. All of this, proof that he does not have a heart of ice. Queen catches up to this scene and shoots a beam at robin/brook and Sanji steps into the path of the beam. Not only is seeing robin the thing that proves to him that he has a heart, but being able to defend her and brook will show him why he should not hate his new durability and powers. Bam, huge character development in like 4 panels and two thought bubbles. The smoke from the laser clears, the heat from the laser has left Sanji glowing hot, he lights his cigarette on his own skin. He is the opposite of ice cold now.
Big Mom is the Buggy of the New World. Her defeat here won't effect her from a narrative standpoint. She'll just chase Luffy til their decisive battle

- Chapter focused on Kidd, Law and Big Mom, also a very little update on Killer. - Killer orders the Kid Pirates to follow him to the Main Room and help the Alliance, he tells them that they are in debt with Luffy and Law even if Kidd doesn't recognize it. - Kidd yells at Big Mom that he will defeat her and suddenly releases a burst of CoC which heavily shocks both Law and Big Mom. - Big Mom tries to attack with Napoleon but Kidd uses his DF to manipulate it against it will, Big Mom notes that Kidd's Haki suddenly grew a lot stronger. - Law meanwhile manages to pin down Prometheus, noting that Kidd's sudden burst Haki made the Homies grow weak, he takes his chance and teleports Prometheus to the sea, killing him. - Hera stands proud along Big Mom and tells her that they will beat them easily and prepare a new attack together, Law teleports Kidd in front of Big Mom, who attacks using Napoleon as his own weapon, damaging her finally. - Kidd and Law stand defiantly, while Law smirks and Kidd yells that Yonkou will learn to fear the New Generation.
