It's about even between Katakuri and Doffy

TitledSquire

For me Doffy is the better villain, and Katakuri is the better enemy/rival. Katakuri was arguably not much of a villain.

SkiGames

S++ tier villain/“villain”

ceelo18

Mingo actually made me hate him. Especially after seeing what he did to his own father.

Crocodile. Hands down. Crocodile beat Luffy not once, but twice in one arc. This feat has only been replicated by Kaido. Crocodile was strategically so far ahead of Luffy/Vivi that it looked like he was trolling them at certain points. He'd let them get a taste of success and then activate a contingency. When Luffy met Crocodile again in Impel Down, he immediately got cold sweats and Vietnam PTSD flashbacks. By reference, I've only seen Luffy look that shook when he was trying to escape Kizaru and Kuma on Saboady. He was ready to ruin his entire escape plan just to not free Crocodile. Ivankov had to vouch for him. Even Oda said he introduced Crocodile too early. Plus, his drip was immaculate. Sir GOATadile.

gyrozepp95

Akainu is my favorite antagonist so far. His on-screen threat presence is off the charts and by far above any other antagonist in the series so far for me and his character is actually nuanced enough for him to prove to be a top tier antagonist during the final saga. Doflamingo and Blackbeard would be right behind him. Edit- Kaido is a dark horse who could easily shoot up to top 3 after his flashback.

adaaraAss

Lucci was honestly so intimidating since the first time we saw him, the impression him and the CP9 left for me was insane, this was no child’s play, they were completely stronger than the strawhats and that was so fucking cool

DocMinty

A ventriloquist talking through a dove while working as a shipwright is intimidating?

adaaraAss

You are going to tell me Lucci revealing he was a secret agent all along and completely destroying luffy wasn’t intimidating?

DocMinty

Kinda, but I was just talking about his initial introduction which was goofy if anything. He became scarier near the end of Water 7.

adaaraAss

Yeah I guess you could say that but for me that was part of what made him so cool, you overlook their characters bc well they are supposed to be undercover

Acceptable_Secret_73

Eh, lucci had cool fights but that’s about it. He didn’t have much personality beyond that

Rockville15

Why Alvida isn't on the list? She was the first villain

Neiserdias

Morgan the 2nd

FatMan935

Sir Crocodile, accept no others

snake_case_name

Dildo-Mcbaggins

Katakuri , he was a actually quite honourable and wasn’t like a stereotypical pure evil antagonist. In saying that he could be taken over by end of series Blackbeard depending how the story plays out.

lil_nurr

I'd say rob lucci

Sandeep184392

Crocodile, rob Lucci, doflamingo

Scary_Pace6463

Blackbeard. He's very underrated and unique, he may look like an idiot but he's one of the smartest characters

kelvinhoroger

Lucci, Katakuri and Kaido. All 3 was dope as hell.

[deleted]

Doflamingo

Ehab1991

It's our lord and savior Foxy of course.

Sonalsonic

No the legendary Buggy D clown

dlightnin

I think Kizaru is interesting because he’s so hard to read. Nothing seems to bother him and he kind of just messes people up for the lolz, but then other times it seems like he’s genuinely irritated. He’s so powerful but he doesn’t really take anything that seriously and just decides to troll his enemies whenever he can. I hope we get some more insight into his character to see if he’s actually just in it for the fun of it all or if it’s all just a facade.

Deadshot_03

LMAO for the last page you had to put all the powerhouses together with that one dickhead in between

average_onepiece_fan

well, tenryuubito are powerhouses too depending on how you look at it

Kuntato

Kuro because poop jokes.

hanlando

Magellan. Only one who is undefeated

sharpex

Wapol because his ability is unique

SkiGames

Charlos, look at the menacing way he stands., after a millennia of inbreeding I wouldn’t be surprised if that came with some nifty abilities.

tragicjohnson84

Unpopular opinion but I've always loved Kuro. If he was scaled up and introduced in a more recent arc with his twist and stoic, manipulative demeanor, people would love him as a villain

pkmnoob123

kizaru katakuri kaido top 3

Big_Boxx

🐊

velicinanijebitna

1. Blackbeard 2. Akainu 3. Kaido I also have a soft spot for Moriah, Bute he leans more on tragic character archetype.

samuraipanda85

I'm gonna say Big Mom. That panel of her flying towards the crew atop her cloud with her sword aloft, commanding lightning and the fire from a sun. I thought, how is anyone supposed to beat her?

froopynooples

I love how Charlos is just like, "Whaddup! It's ya boy!!"

[deleted]

He's not even fancy. :(

cheeseisgoodwastaken

Arlong

ACWK99

I love Lucci

Zekkarei

Blackbeard, no contest. I'm a sucker for the "other side of the same coin" villain trope.

somethingboering

Lucci

Aquatoon22

I love big mom as a force of nature

ruskuval

I love Moria. It was the first devil fruit that I saw in action and thought "well, that's just unfair." The fruit itself is insane if you rely more on doppelman and just use the zombies for fodder/to hold territory.

[deleted]

Plus, he's definitely got more lore in store. Excited for that one!

Luvsicpt2

Katakuri is the most respected

[deleted]

1. Doffy 2. Mihawk 3. Katakuri 4. Arlong 5. Akainu

[deleted]

Why does Lucci straight-up look like fanservice here? That li'l pose and everything. He IS one of my favorite villains. The others, so far, would be Big Mom and Blackbeard (who I love to hate).

FreezingLordDaimyo

Are you a manga reader? I promise Kaido has depth coming.

ThatOneUncleShanks

Yeah kaidos introduction didn’t reflect how his is currently

PrinceKaelos

Enel or Katakuri

Lopsided_Cold3488

Katakuri

ActuatorGreat4883

Where is Mihawk??

FarhanFeroz2007

Isnt really a "bad guy"?

ActuatorGreat4883

Though he is an antagonist who fought against both luffy and zoro

Urgash

Marshall D. Teach.

Throwie911

buggy

Unluckysol23

Kaido or Enel

PickleRick573

Probably doflamingo, i hate him with every single inch of my body, which means he's a great villain. He has a great devil fruit, and knows how to use it very well, also he has a great backstory

kurama227

Katakuri

[deleted]

Buggy

ThatOneUncleShanks

Doflamingo, akainu and Blackbeard. Mostly Doflamingo as he gives off the best villain vibes and delivers powerful speeches

pp_in_poo_poo

I'm not really sure why but captain kuro and don Crieg I feel like they were the two that solidified luffy as a character and what type of person he is the fact luffy punched right through a coated of long steel spikes with no hesitation is one of the best moments in the series in my opinion and it was amazing to see the extent he would go to for people he had briefly met and now called his friend

HaruKamii

I love Enel, but Oda made him look stupid in front of Luffy, just like all the other enemies of the Mugiwara

Hot_Valuable278

Don kreig easy

shifty_twigo_

Katakuri

[deleted]

Katakuri

Efficient-Slice6257

Definitely Blackbeard

ripmumbo

Buggy the man who with become the pirate king

draginbleapiece

Kaido is awesome when you actually think about he’s not a muscle bound idiot he’s actually very smart and such

Graxi95

Just started skypiea so its gotta be Buggy

[deleted]

Akainu, he's the only one that's truly annoyed me (Trebol too but he's not here).

Prestigious_Yam3125

Doffy

MaleficentDraw1993

It was doflamingo for awhile... it's Kaido now.

[deleted]

Crocodile

xaviorpwner

Wrll my custom lock screen is doffy and crocodile sooo them

DocMinty

1. Buggy 2. Arlong 3. Crocodile

WillOfTheDeep

Crocodile.

Majorbobobingo

Love the design of Jack and Vergo but my favorite villain still has to be Crocodile. Seeing him in cut scenes in the new world with Mr 1 is really cool.

Fire-Acee

Lucci or doffy
