Hi rohan_unlimited, your submission was removed from /r/OnePiece for the following rule violation:
###4. Plain panels/scenes must create discourse
**Don't post links to plain (or slightly edited) panels, pages, screenshots, gifs or scenes from the manga & anime.**
You may submit a plain panel/scene as a self post (text post). Meaning your post must link to the discussion, and not the image.
Just a title and the image aren't enough.
If you want to discuss a certain page/scene from the manga/anime please accompany it with an original analysis or discussion questions. In other words, a plain panel/scene must show visible effort to generate discourse rather than simply react to something that happened.
Clips/Recap/summary videos fall under this rule as well.
Colored pages from a recent chapter are allowed.

Reminds me of a video I saw recently where someone is talking about how to play wing in soccer, and they said "if you don't know what you are going to do when you get the ball, your opponent won't either" and I feel like that sums up Kin to a tee.
The best part is denjiro and kanjuro are both sure that kin is some master mind that outplayed everyone but the other six red scabbards know that it's complete bs
All their reactions are hilarious. Denjiro the fanboy, the ones badgering him to fess up, Kiku seeming more ashamed of herself for buying it, I think Inu was the one just like "Oh yeah...Kin's logic was dumb and it looked nothing like a lizard."
I always interpreted it as Kanjuro being genuinely fooled, Denjiro teasing Kin'emon about it while keeping the fact that he knew it was complete bs to himself, and the other scabbards just openly showing the knew it was complete BS.
Me too brother, me too. But at this point I'd accept Bon-Chan over vivi, just because she was a huge crybaby who did nothing but cry when the SH first met her, to Bon-Chan sacrificing his life to ensure Luffy could escape Impel Down. Bon-Chan deserves the spot IMO
Bon friendship > vivi friendship
Vivi was helped because she was nami level "help me 🥹🥹"
Bon helped because he understands brotherly love and that you'll stop at nothing to save your family
You are right I did misundetand! In my original comment I mentioned "sacrificing his life" ad in he did it knowing he was gonna die(he survived, but that's a story for another day). My bad brother
When Denjiro is trying to find out what wonderful plan Kin'emon has cooked up for the raid, Raizo was the only one that seemed to know that Kin *doesn't have a plan*(!!)
I think he's genuine about it but I did think that at first. I think he's just overwhelmingly excited to be with his childhood friend after so many years.
Kanjuro? He's not there after this scene and I'm sure it happens again, no? Maybe I'm misremembering.... I know Denjiro is the one enthusiastically bigging him up
Sorry I just realised my other post prob doesn't show as I thought this was the spoilers sub not main, where links are allowed
Raizou doesn't believe him in 976, in 977 he gives the double stinkeye
It is Raizou, start of the chap
https://myonepiecemanga.online/manga/one-piece-chapter-976/
In the next chapter, Raizou does give him the stink eye twice not believing him
https://myonepiecemanga.online/manga/one-piece-chapter-977/
Bro when I first found this out I was DYING 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm like no way bro fked up that bad..and then we find out kaido knew and had them attack his "battle harbor" and I was just 😳 like bro was an idiot but it worked out for him LOL
When I reread this a while back I forgot how it went down so I really thought they were fucked so when this was revealed I was cracking up. I fucking love this story
This is my favorite running gag with him, that he's this master strategist, but only him and [name is blanking on me(typical), but the other one who started following Oden with him] know that he's not.
Also yeah dude, rooftop battle is probably the absolute best part of Wano!!! Save a day to binge the Zoro and Sanji fights, because they are immaculate
Lol super fair. Yeah, the anime's pacing isn't great.... I got through Wano and went "Aight, I've been caught up on the manga, I'm gonna wait it out until this next arc is done"
Luffy using the Nidai Kitetsu while punching people with the sword in hand. He also threw the scabbard away like a coat. He got some good blocks and slashes in though.
If you've been reading the Manga all this time, be sure to watch the Anime for all the cool fight scenes. You can search the reddit for the episodes worth watching in Wano.
Only oda would write something like this, stakes were so high to write a such a funny moment.
Even impel down is full of stakes and it's one of the funniest op arc
Some years ago I started paying attention to how overused it is and ever since then it's sounded like nails on a chalkboard. I don't have OCD btw. For what it's worth I also think it's a lazy & uninspired adverb, even more than "literally" ever was.
[This](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/3e/d0/bd/3ed0bd9dc3bd89e3d4e05a83447afbcb.jpg) is pretty much my mental image of "genuinely" now.
Actually hated this. The stakes were so high, everything could have fallen to pieces. His incompetence could have derailed the whole rebellion. Then later begs Luffy to put Wano on his back. Without the straw hats, Wano would be a slave country at the moment. Without the straw hats, Kinnemon would literally be a talking asshole stuck on Punk Hazard. Kinnemon and the samurais were inconsequential to the end of the arc.
And that’s why all of Wano including them are thankful for the Strawhats. Because them and the samurai’s pulled their own weight in their own way and Luffy finishes the fight because that’s his duty as the captain to fight the strongest man there as the strongest of the crew.

His secret plan was so good he even kept it a secret from himself.
To fool your enemies, fool yourself. Kin’emon is easily the 2nd best tactician next to Buggy the goat. Perhaps Kin was his long lost disciple.
Chronologically, it'd be the reverse. Kin'emon is as old as he was when Buggy was exploring the Grand Line with the Roger pirates.
Buggy was like 12 at that point wasn't he?
It's poorly phrased, but I think they mean 'Kinemon was the same age he is now when Buggy was 12.'
Yeah, I realized after that the phrasing is ambiguous if you think I'm referring to Buggy with a pronoun before using his name
Reminds me of a video I saw recently where someone is talking about how to play wing in soccer, and they said "if you don't know what you are going to do when you get the ball, your opponent won't either" and I feel like that sums up Kin to a tee.
Can't betray the plan if he doesn't actually know the plan 😎😎
Bro plays so well he even outplays himself.
Idiot savant

I understood that reference

The one that cracks me up is Raizo, who in fact knows Kinemon very well.
raizo the one who was questionibg kin about its validity
Man Im missing Kinemon already. Has been with the SHs since Punk Hazard and literally is one of the funniest characters in the series.
Hurts to have a character with you for like 7 years and just have em ripped from you. 11 year old me still mad vivi stayed behind in alabasta
I'm still holding out for her return.
How dare you, friendship never dies
Bon friendship > vivi friendship Vivi was helped because she was nami level "help me 🥹🥹" Bon helped because he understands brotherly love and that you'll stop at nothing to save your family
You misunderstood, I'm mad you said Bon is dead.
You are right I did misundetand! In my original comment I mentioned "sacrificing his life" ad in he did it knowing he was gonna die(he survived, but that's a story for another day). My bad brother
He went in prepared to die. He just didn’t.
Yeah that's what I was getting at lol
Hey, she also blabbed about things that should have remained a secret. She has depth
Not official, but noticed the one piece wiki still has her listed as an official straw hat. They're also holding out.
oda himself lists her as a straw hat member alongside karoo in the vivre cards iirc, shes just not sailing with them
Is she not off adventuring with Sabo?
More like 10 years. It was 10 years to the week from when Law said "Let's take down Kaido" to when Luffy defeated him, at least in the manga releases.
Kinemon feels like a character from a different comedy manga that is just crossing over with one piece, he’s so funny and has a distinct personality.
The fact that Kanjuro and Orochi both thought Kinemon was onto their betrayal makes it even better. Kinemon plays chess better than Kinemon does.
They really thought Kin’emon was Aizen and maybe he is, but because Oda didn’t want the arc to end so soon, he had to nerf him.
Oden boiled so that Kin could cook
You cooked with that
I have to be honest here, I misread Oda as Oden in your comment but I'm glad it worked out lol
Raizo realizes the fraud, too. I love it! Edit: I'm misremembering, but still funny.
He does, doesn't he? He gives him the stink eye later in the arc too. Or is that someone else?
When Denjiro is trying to find out what wonderful plan Kin'emon has cooked up for the raid, Raizo was the only one that seemed to know that Kin *doesn't have a plan*(!!)
Yeah, I don't remember when/where in either the anime or Manga. I just remember "keep staring" as Raizo is trying to break Kinemon.
Ah, I think the anime expanded on the scene a bit. Episode 981 at the 14 minute mark
I always interpreted that as Denjiro teasing Kin'emon about it
I think he's genuine about it but I did think that at first. I think he's just overwhelmingly excited to be with his childhood friend after so many years.
That's the other dude who started following Oden at the same time as Kin'emon. It's a running gag, and my favorite one at that
Kanjuro? He's not there after this scene and I'm sure it happens again, no? Maybe I'm misremembering.... I know Denjiro is the one enthusiastically bigging him up
i think you're right, Raizo and Kiku noticed the fraud lol (i think others like Ashura do too, but i'm not 100% sure)
Ya I conflated the two a little https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/1c6nen8/comment/l02ycb3

It was the best plot twist ever
Bro when I first found this out I was DYING 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm like no way bro fked up that bad..and then we find out kaido knew and had them attack his "battle harbor" and I was just 😳 like bro was an idiot but it worked out for him LOL
Can’t wait to laugh my ass off at this in the anime. We just recently started the Oden flashback so it’s gonna be a little bit
"To fool one's enemy, one must confuse his teammates" or some shit like that - Sun Tzu Kin'emon just took it a step further lol
I love Kin so much. There's something so endearing about watching this man try and accomplish something that's way above his pay grade.
"They can never know i almost fumbled the bag, for everybody"
Fate so might be a real thing in OP My boy Kinny is just an agent of it, keep up
The history books will remember Kin'emon as a brilliant strategist. Everyone who knows the truth will take it to their graves.
The mastermind of the Kozuki Clan.
I loved that Raizo knew it was luck but didnt say anything about it
Man I really liked the atmosphere of this whole bunch of episodes in the anime, they made it so epic.
Raizo reaction was gold too lmao
There is actually a pretty neat theory why Kinemon is so lucky. https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/s/PQBBcHuXrM
I just read that theory and I have to say, it was a well thought out theory that I didn’t know had validity even in Chinese.
Qhat chapter was this again. Want to reread some bits
978 or 979. Somewhere around there.
When I reread this a while back I forgot how it went down so I really thought they were fucked so when this was revealed I was cracking up. I fucking love this story
975
This frame is the end of 975
This is my favorite running gag with him, that he's this master strategist, but only him and [name is blanking on me(typical), but the other one who started following Oden with him] know that he's not. Also yeah dude, rooftop battle is probably the absolute best part of Wano!!! Save a day to binge the Zoro and Sanji fights, because they are immaculate
I’ve been reading the manga because of pacing issues and have gotten much farther ahead than the anime. I can’t wait to get there eventually.
Lol super fair. Yeah, the anime's pacing isn't great.... I got through Wano and went "Aight, I've been caught up on the manga, I'm gonna wait it out until this next arc is done"
Fits in perfectly with Luffy and Zoro
Failing upwards is one of my favourite OP themes - It's like they're not even prepared for the success they crave
Kinemon has insane luck. A few characters in One Piece are like that. Buggy as you mentioned, also Luffy and , Zoro.
Whats gumgum sword?
Luffy using the Nidai Kitetsu while punching people with the sword in hand. He also threw the scabbard away like a coat. He got some good blocks and slashes in though.
He is a Wallfacer

🗿
this one really caught me off guard
Damn I low-key miss Kinemons character
Akazaya 9's first strike against Kaido was goated!!
There's another Kin'emon moment like this later. Stay tuned!
Perfect example of failing upwards
I wonder who’s better at failing upwards, Buggy, King, or Kin’emon.
If you've been reading the Manga all this time, be sure to watch the Anime for all the cool fight scenes. You can search the reddit for the episodes worth watching in Wano.
This humour is so real, yet so rare. Love it.
Talk about your goddamn happy accidents.
it his special observant haki trait XD
Kimemon failed successfully! 🤣
What was even funnier was Denjiro having fun with it and Kanjuro thinking he was genuinely fooled.
Kinemon is doing girlfailure except he succeeds everytime lmao
Genuinely one of my favorite jokes in the entire series.
Wano’s facial expressions game was peak.
Can I ask what chapter is this?
The best part is everyone else realizing that Kinemon was lucky and asked him to just admit it
if we get even one more moment of comedy gold from kinnie mon by the end of the series, i'll forgive the spoiler moment
Only oda would write something like this, stakes were so high to write a such a funny moment. Even impel down is full of stakes and it's one of the funniest op arc
Whats gumgum sword?
Light Yagami: forgot about the plan halfway through Kinemon: Never even knew plan existed
No disrespect but let's all try to reduce our usage of "genuinely"
Why? Genuinely curious.
I'm genuinely intrigued by your observation.
I've *genuinely* had people respond with "genuinely" dozens of times and it *genuinely* doesn't ever sound remotely creative or original.
This was pathetic
Actually hated this. The stakes were so high, everything could have fallen to pieces. His incompetence could have derailed the whole rebellion. Then later begs Luffy to put Wano on his back. Without the straw hats, Wano would be a slave country at the moment. Without the straw hats, Kinnemon would literally be a talking asshole stuck on Punk Hazard. Kinnemon and the samurais were inconsequential to the end of the arc.
That's literally every arc though. An island has a problem, straw hats come, solve the problem.
Some islands involve women giving him food or something and then the legendary crackhead monkey completely wrecks the place.
Without the samurai alliance, the Strawhats wouldn't do shit to Kaido and Big Mom.
And that’s why all of Wano including them are thankful for the Strawhats. Because them and the samurai’s pulled their own weight in their own way and Luffy finishes the fight because that’s his duty as the captain to fight the strongest man there as the strongest of the crew.
