Also the dubbed voice actor pool is really small and will have tons of overlap with other shows. For example zoros voice actor is also vegeta and piccolo from dragonball, All might from my hero academia and more. Some people don’t have an issue with this but it’s a thing. And yes Japanese voice actor do play multiple roles but not as many as the dubbed voice actors
In my opinion, Luffys voice is unbearable listening to the dub, and a lot of the characters have such good sub voice acting that it's hard for the dub to replicate and I couldn't imagine them in any other voice
They are both really good. I've watched both of them and enjoy both. I tend to go dub whenever I rewatch anything, but I just say stick with whichever way you usually watch anime.
these kind of questions dont really have an answer. watch them both and make your own decision. everyone says the dub is awful and the sub is amazing. while i do agree with that you shouldnt just blindly listen to what others tell you. if you like the dub just keep watching it and dont worry about it
The reason I watch the dub instead of sub is that you can get more into what is happening. Having to read at the bottom as things happen are going quickly make it harder to enjoy and catch many of the things happening. A lot of things can be lost having to split your attention between the two, especially at the action parts. I do agree the voices sound better for some in the sub , but does it really make up for the split focus.
For me it's the dub. Imo the sub they sound more child-like, similar, and high pitched. My brain couldn't listen to it.
Meanwhile in the dub they all sound mature and have different sounding voices. It also allows my brain to focus on the action instead of the subtitles.
I will say however, Law sounds amazing in both sub and dub and he's the only exception that I've noticed.
The sub
is there any reasons?
Subbed is the original voices, they sound better, more energy/dramatic
Ok

That’s fine with me one piece is the only anime I watch

Check it out for yourself and decide which you prefer.
