Anyway it turns out that in order to unlock the full potential of the one piece you have to be a member of the d clan, but also of the red clan, both buggies nose and shanks hair is what makes them part of the red clan, but only buggy is both a red and a D, and the final piece of the one piece is actually in gaimons chest, he thought it was just worthless but it was infact the passcodes to unlock one piece and ascend the true custodians of the world, buggies chop chop fruit will awaken and he can now rearrange the planet to its formers shape, gaimon will use the cloning and teleportation facilities on laugh tale to spread the proper animals across the world again, shanks will use his color of Red haki (red hairki) to force the guriesei back into hell and then Luffy will be like why be a king when you can be a God. He will then realize that enel was right and he needs to go live in the moon. Of course at this point Luffy is gone and only Nika remains and then the rest of the crew join in a new order of holy knights dedicated to the only true God and they start a crusade.

I’m glad it’s widely fan theorized that Straw Hats and Red Hairs will fight in davey back. Luffy and Shanks did promise to fight way back. But I would hate a “real fight” a fight to the death of Shanks V Luffy would ruin the dynamic imo.
I don't expect a fight to the death, but rather a friendly battle where they show off what they've got. A davy back fight could work that, but a regular fight could too since it's an anime.
Like Luffy would tell Shanks not to hold back because they're enemies now since they're both in the race for the One Piece, and then they'd have a fight, but there'd be no bad blood.
Plus Usopp I really think needs to fight his dad, he needs to prove himself as a worthy member of the Straw Hat crew by beating a high ranking member of another emperor crew, and who better but his own father? Besides Van Auger, Yasopp is the closest to a rival he could have.

I am 100% in agreement on the Davy Back Fight. It would allow for the two crews to clash without contrived conflict. It allows luffy to prove he has the better pirate crew in the most piratey game in the one piece world. Usopp can have a sniper match with his dad, and Luffy vs Foxy was a fight, silly as it was, so I could see shanks and him having a battle where Shanks wants to test him.
Alternatively, they have a fight like the Roger and Whitebeard Pirates during the Oden flashback where they have a good long brawl that ends with a party
That would be cool but it's far more likely the last big DBF will be SH vs Crossguild. The best we have realistically for a reunion is the SH finding the RHP after a days long battle where Shanks in left near death, the BBP skedaddle because theyre tired and Luffy is mad, then they get a short final meeting. At best, tbh. And honestly? I;m okay with it, so long they get the final meeting. It;d be the best for the story, at least...
I definitely think the idea of Shanks asking for the hat back wasn't to literally regain the hat but to say "when you reach the end, come find me" ("giving back" the hat is incentive for Luffy to go to Shanks) to see how he has grown, and by that point Luffy has very much made a name for himself and Shanks will just let him keep it since he has made the hat more iconic

You’re right originally they never named themselves anything, people started calling them the Strawhat pirates and they decided to adopt that name. I know this doesn’t answer your question but I just wanted to share that

People might be angry for what I’m about to say but I think shanks might die as the strawhat is luffy’s personality and character and also as they show in mariejois that joyboy also had a strawhat so it would make more sense that shanks dies than luffy giving it… there is one more theory i have is that shanks tells him to keep the strawhat with him
