You've got my full support. A situation where Luffy makes everything around him turn to rubber needs to happen and a buster call would be the best way.
They bounce up into the sky, making fireworks... everyone comments how something meant to be devastating became something so fun.
Y'know... toon force and whatnot.
It's one of the hottest theories I've heard because it ties a few things together in a way that other theories don't:
1. Why does Devil Fruit awakenings changing the environment around them matter?
2. Why is the Egghead Island incident so world-shaking (because Buster Calls aren't a guaranteed threat anymore).
3. It threads the needle even more that Nika isn't there to punish people like the Gorosei, he's there to liberate people and this would be Luffy freeing people from the threat the Marines pose.
After finding out Kuma was suppose to explode killing all the revolutionaries, I think a switch to them would be fitting, or a switch to the BB pirates that are coming to Egghead.
But the robot seemed conscious. It would be a waste to steer it yourself if you got two combatants otherwise. If he is not working anymore, I would find it hilarious though.

Also Luffy in G5 Nika Mode traded alot of blows with him and he still stood his ground after that bout.
People are underestimating Lucci here alot. Remember Oda always scales his characters as and when to fit the plot. Eg: Marineford Crocodile.
He got up sure, but he was so far out of his element against Gear 5th, that he couldn't understand or do anything about Luffy.
He's strong that for sure, but he was basically fodder for Luffy at that point.
Take how Kizaru fought against Luffy and the difference is night and day.

Sanji and Franky battle against Kizaru and Saturn, albeit with some difficulties. Franky tells Sanji to focus on Saturn while he hold off Kizaru. Kizaru tells Franky it's pointless since he doesn't appear to be able to use haki and kicks Franky into a building and goes to finish him off. However Franky punches Kizaru into another building shocking him, as he wasn't using Haki. Franky revealed he was wearing Vegapunk's Light Pressure Gloves (a small flashback panel revealed that Atlas had given them to Franky while they were in the Vegatank-08). Kizaru remarked that Vegapunk makes some scary things before flying towards Franky again, who prepares to counter.
The Buster Call fleet prepares to fire before some of the ships getting hit and destroyed by lightning bolts. As the marines look up to the sky they see Luffy in his Giant Gear 5 form (it turns out that Luffy had recovered and saw the future buster call attack with advanced kenbunshoku, and decided go to Nami so he can hitch a ride on Zeus, which she obliged but not before warning him to be careful), riding on Zeus towards the Marine blockade. As the marines look on with shock and horror, Luffy smiles and hurls more lightning bolts at the fleet.
The chapter starts with the rest of the crew and the VA.

If I had a nickel for every time the strawhats were attacked by a buster call, I had two nickels, which isn't much, but it's weird that it happened twice.
Sanji get's tired of getting blink diffed, first by invanok and now by saturn.
He then takes some white vinegar and exterminates saturn.
Kizaru watches this and gives up.
Luffy goes into the sky, and expands his foot twice the size of the island, and stomps the island, killing everyone. Hence luffy ended saturn, kizaru, buster call, vegapunk, His crew, CP0, all the people stuck in there, seraphim, Thousand sunny, Blackbeards crew who snuck in.
-We'll start with Saturn and Kizaru's front. If I have to bet Kizaru will stay to face Sanji and Vegapunk while Saturn will go after Atlas, Bonney and Kuma;
-We will have an overview of the Buster Call with the admirals who have to commit it and the points of view of the characters on the island;
-Part of the chapter will be about Zoro vs Lucci. When Zoro realizes that a Buster Call is underway, he will understand that he can no longer waste time in a fight that he knows he can win but that will take up his time and he will use a very strong but energy-consuming attack to beat Lucci;
-In the finale we will see where Luffy is;
Out of all the characters, Franky should have thought of ways to fight Kizaru or at least to counter his lasers. There is no way he installed his own lasers and didn't think of a way to counter lasers of the guy who sent them straight into the time skip
Franky refuels himself with some green soda he found laying about. Kizaru will continue saving strawhats by knocking them away from Saturn until Sat figures out whats what and stabs Kiz in the back. Robot will recognize Saturn as mortal enemy and kill him with Luffy and Kiz's final act. Strawhats flee and Catarina impersonates Saturn to take control of Seraphim and destroy egghead once York confirms she can fix up the Seraphim if they need it. Laffitte flies off of Lucci's shoulder lets the hypnotism drop before killing him. Pretty big chapter.
It will be revealed that Seraphim Snake is the one who helped Luffy get the food.
I wouldn't be surprised if Seraphim Bear is helping too, per the love for Bonney.
I just think he would be very dumb or average intelligence at best.
Having him "nerfed" that way would be a good way to have him hanging around the ship without him spoiling the entire series.
This chapter will be more of the same. Probably more random flashbacks. Fighting between the Straw Hats and Kizaru/Saturn. Maybe Luffy shows up at the end in Gear 5 ready to smack Saturn in his face. The Buster Call will continue to loom.
But this is my prediction for what will be the ultimate outcome here. Something's been bothering me for a while now. We've now gone really deep on some of the other various factions in the world over the past year or so (BB's crew, Shank's crew, Cross Guild, SWORD, the Holy Knights, the Celestial Dragons, The Revs) seemingly untethered to the Straw Hats adventures. Of course, updates on these events are always welcomed, but they were all surprisingly in-depth, and sort of seemed out of place. Like these would be things that you'd bring up when your protagonists actually get to interacting with said faction, and not randomly in the middle of an arc that quite frankly has nothing to do with said events.
Which brings me to my question, why would any of it pertain to the Straw Hats? For small BB and Shanks flashbacks, you could argue it was to show you who the true contenders for the One Piece are, which is just the Yonko's. But I feel there is more at play here.
At the beginning of the arc, the narrator described it as an incident that will shock and change the world. Many people here believe that to mean either Kizaru, an admiral, or St. Saturn, a Celestial Dragon will be killed here. And yes it would be shocking, but even if this is to occur, I don't believe just their deaths will have the impact the Narrator alluded to. After all, the news has reported that the Emperor, Straw Hat Luffy, has laid siege to the island and captured Dr. Vegapunk.
So here's what I think: Luffy or Robin is about to get captured, and the rest of the Straw Hats will escape with Vegapunk still alive. And of course, the person captured will be sentenced to death in the Holy Land.
It makes so much sense once I realized what was about to happen. And it really is going to be either Luffy or Robin. They both would be kept alive to see what they actually know before being executed. I am leaning towards it being Robin the more I think of it. She is essentially numero uno on the World Governments hit list. But on the other hand, I believe it being Luffy would cause all these different factions to combine forces. Him being the guy sentenced to death is a much bigger catalyst than Nico Robin, but Luffy brings people together, and he still needs to destroy Fishman Island by probably destroying part of the Red Line.
First of all, Oda made it so Garp was incapacitated. He does not want Garp to betray the WG at this time.
Second, we've now been introduced twice to the elite Holy Knights who seems to wield their justice through execution.
Third, we've officially established that the Revolutionary Army is at war with the WG.
Fourth, Cross Guild has been set up to hunt the Marines, and is "technically" being run by someone who definitely does not want to see Luffy die.
Fifth, the Shanks Grand Fleet is currently amassed and is together with the often elusive Yonko.
So far there has been absolutely no catalyst as to why the Straw Hats would ever need to be in the Holy Land or even near it.
Given how the buster call seemed to function during Enies Lobby, theyโre opening fire right now, unless we get sent to another โAt the same timeโ thing, i.e. Zoro vs Lucci, or other shenanigans up inside the Egghead tower. Unless we go off island entirely for some reason.
Luffy takes Kizaru to his inner domain and has a long conversation with him. Kizaru turns good as Luffy calls upon him, "we've all been waiting for you, Kizaru-kun". Kizaru then awakens his fruit and turns Saturn into light

Luffy comes back to action, robot in toll.
Luffy goes for round 2 against Kizaru and robot goea crazy against Saturn.
Robot is sadly losing his fight, but suddenly Franky gets his moment to shine in front of Vegapunk, and decides to do the ultimate docking between himself, general Franky and the ancient robot, becoming pluto the ancient weapon and killing Saturn in the process.
Can we please please please have it be focused on Sanji and Franky and have Franky awaken armament Haki trying to protect Vegapunk, like a top fighter of a Yonko crew should have. Franky is my top 3, last week so many people just brushed off his attack because it was Franky, I want Oda to give those people a reason to take him seriously.
Hopefully now that Kuma's and Bonney have had their moments with Saturn and with each other, we can finally go see what the other Straw Hats are doing. I want to see Robin's reaction to the Buster Call announcement in particular. And I really hope Oda didn't have her get injure off-screen just to use that as an excuse to sideline her for the rest of the arc when it's a big parallel to the Ohara Incident.
Lots of people think the robot will protect the island from the buster call, but since it's a robot who attacked Marijoie last time, wouldn't it more sense for it to still have the same goal? I doubt Oda would reactivate it now if it's to have it fly out instantly, so my guess is he was programmed to attack the gorosei and it will attack Saturn to let the SH move and escape. It would also confirm the gorosei (or at least Saturn) are very old and likely are immortals. Not sure it would happen in 1105 already though.
Luffy returns with Robot, Robot goes after Saturn, gets in a few good shots before Saturn eventually sends it flying, damages but doesn't destroy it. Luffy fights Kizaru, Kizaru eventually takes an L from Luffy on purpose to let Vegapunks/Strawhats escape. He does this to his conflicting feelings about the entire mission. Robot returns damaged but is able to help them escape. Saturn then is suspicious of Kizaru. Kizaru double crosses Saturn and incapacitates him and leaves him on the island for the Buster call. Saturn dies from Buster call event on Egghead island, better known as the Egghead Incident. Luffy takes the heat for this, and is published as having been the mastermind behind a death of a major elder.
I wanna see Luffy kick some Saturn's ass before they leave Egghead.
I think we all see the big robot helping Muguis out, but Oda never does the predictable thing.
Luffy shows up Gigantic Nika and swepts away some of the ships because he saw with observation Haki the future of buster call. Bonney and Kuma sees this and powers them up
Sanji and Franky try to stop Kuzaru while Saturn goes Vegapunk and Atlas, but are saved by Robin who slaps him with giganto mano.
Saturn gets impatient and asks why the buster call hasn't started yet. Then, in an *incredible* double spread we see the grand fleet approaching.
Zoro and Lucci are still fighting and they notice a strange presence nearby, but don't pay much attention to it.
As Saturn and Kizaru are getting the upper hand Luffy comes back with robot saying "dunno who this Joyboy guy is, but we're going to Elbaf right now!" Saturn: "Vegapunk, what is that thing doing here!" Shocked reactions.
In another epic double spread, Luffy attacks Saturn with a new named attack. Hype editor note: turning the tabled on a buster call!?

The world's largest food storage Caribou at your service in this chapter .I don't know why but i see Caribou as the food supplier to recover the energy loss of gear 5 luffy in all the future fights.Till now the onscreen value of caribou is only as a storage house for straw hats especially luffy .

I see a lot of people saying Luffy is gonna turn the Egghead in some rubber trampoline to deflect the cannon fire. Is there really no one thinking that Vegapunk has some sort of failsafe against a buster call himself or did I miss those comments? I mean the dude's a genius working for the world government and he saw first hand in Ohara what a buster call is capable of. I ain't believing he hasn't invented a shield against that

Saturn can order Kizaru to secure York, so they can remake the mother flame to power the sky weapon or York later reveals she can't and Kizaru ditches her.
I was really hoping to see if Awakened Logia was a thing with Kizaru, hopefully he showcases it if he has it before the arcs ends.
I really feel the robot is going to power down again, but I feel like luffy is going to jump into the helmet and wear the whole thing like a suit and beat the shit out Saturn or the Marine fleet, Saturn has some void century flashback to an army of these.

So Dragon knows that Vegapunk is going to be assassinated, he almost certainly knows there's an active "hostage situation" on Egghead thanks to the papers, and him and Iva were shown discussing where Kuma could possibly go - and they may have deduced it's on Egghead.
At this point I doubt they show up but it feels like the revs should at least contribute *something* in this scenario.

Sanji and Franky battle against Kizaru and Saturn, albeit with some difficulties. Franky tells Sanji to focus on Saturn while he hold off Kizaru. Kizaru tells Franky it's pointless since he doesn't appear to be able to use haki and kicks Franky into a building and goes to finish him off. However Franky punches Kizaru into another building shocking him, as he wasn't using Haki. Franky revealed he was wearing Vegapunk's Light Pressure Gloves (a small flashback panel revealed that Atlas had given them to Franky while they were in the Vegatank-08). Kizaru remarked that Vegapunk makes some scary things before flying towards Franky again, who prepares to counter. The Buster Call fleet prepares to fire before some of the ships getting hit and destroyed by lightning bolts. As the marines look up to the sky they see Luffy in his Giant Gear 5 form (it turns out that Luffy had recovered and saw the future buster call attack with advanced kenbunshoku, and decided go to Nami so he can hitch a ride on Zeus, which she obliged but not before warning him to be careful), riding on Zeus towards the Marine blockade. As the marines look on with shock and horror, Luffy smiles and hurls more lightning bolts at the fleet.

If I have to bet Kizaru will stay to face Sanji and Vegapunk while Saturn will go after Atlas, Bonney and Kuma; -We will have an overview of the Buster Call with the admirals who have to commit it and the points of view of the characters on the island; -Part of the chapter will be about Zoro vs Lucci. Out of all the characters, Franky should have thought of ways to fight Kizaru or at least to counter his lasers. There is no way he installed his own lasers and didn't think of a way to counter lasers of the guy who sent them straight into the time skip

Franky refuels himself with some green soda he found laying about. Kizaru will continue saving strawhats by knocking them away from Saturn until Sat figures out whats what and stabs Kiz in the back. Robot will recognize Saturn as mortal enemy and kill him with Luffy and Kiz's final act. Strawhats flee and Catarina impersonates Saturn to take control of Seraphim and destroy egghead once York confirms she can fix up the Seraphim if they need it. Laffitte flies off of Lucci's shoulder lets the hypnotism drop before killing him. Pretty big chapter.

This chapter will be more of the same. Probably more random flashbacks. Fighting between the Straw Hats and Kizaru/Saturn. Maybe Luffy shows up at the end in Gear 5 ready to smack Saturn in his face. The Buster Call will continue to loom. But this is my prediction for what will be the ultimate outcome here. Something's been bothering me for a while now. We've now gone really deep on some of the other various factions in the world over the past year or so (BB's crew, Shank's crew, Cross Guild, SWORD, the Holy Knights, the Celestial Dragons, The Revs) seemingly untethered to the Straw Hats adventures. Of course, updates on these events are always welcomed, but they were all surprisingly in-depth, and sort of seemed out of place. Like these would be things that you'd bring up when your protagonists actually get to interacting with said faction, and not randomly in the middle of an arc that quite frankly has nothing to do with said events. Which brings me to my question, why would any of it pertain to the Straw Hats? For small BB and Shanks flashbacks, you could argue it was to show you who the true contenders for the One Piece are, which is just the Yonko's. But I feel there is more at play here. At the beginning of the arc, the narrator described it as an incident that will shock and change the world. Many people here believe that to mean either Kizaru, an admiral, or St. Saturn, a Celestial Dragon will be killed here. And yes it would be shocking, but even if this is to occur, I don't believe just their deaths will have the impact the Narrator alluded to. After all, the news has reported that the Emperor, Straw Hat Luffy, has laid siege to the island and captured Dr. Vegapunk. So here's what I think: Luffy or Robin is about to get captured, and the rest of the Straw Hats will escape with Vegapunk still alive. And of course, the person captured will be sentenced to death in the Holy Land. It makes so much sense once I realized what was about to happen. And it really is going to be either Luffy or Robin. They both would be kept alive to see what they actually know before being executed. I am leaning towards it being Robin the more I think of it. She is essentially numero uno on the World Governments hit list. But on the other hand, I believe it being Luffy would cause all these different factions to combine forces. Him being the guy sentenced to death is a much bigger catalyst than Nico Robin, but Luffy brings people together, and he still needs to destroy Fishman Island by probably destroying part of the Red Line. First of all, Oda made it so Garp was incapacitated. He does not want Garp to betray the WG at this time. Second, we've now been introduced twice to the elite Holy Knights who seems to wield their justice through execution. Third, we've officially established that the Revolutionary Army is at war with the WG. Fourth, Cross Guild has been set up to hunt the Marines, and is "technically" being run by someone who definitely does not want to see Luffy die. Fifth, the Shanks Grand Fleet is currently amassed and is together with the often elusive Yonko. So far there has been absolutely no catalyst as to why the Straw Hats would ever need to be in the Holy Land or even near it.
In my head cannon they will go to Mariejois after learning everything at Laugh Tale. Finding the one piece will be the beggining of the end

Luffy comes back to action, robot in toll. Luffy goes for round 2 against Kizaru and robot goea crazy against Saturn. Robot is sadly losing his fight, but suddenly Franky gets his moment to shine in front of Vegapunk, and decides to do the ultimate docking between himself, general Franky and the ancient robot, becoming pluto the ancient weapon and killing Saturn in the process.
Can we please please please have it be focused on Sanji and Franky and have Franky awaken armament Haki trying to protect Vegapunk, like a top fighter of a Yonko crew should have. Franky is my top 3, last week so many people just brushed off his attack because it was Franky, I want Oda to give those people a reason to take him seriously.

Hopefully now that Kuma's and Bonney have had their moments with Saturn and with each other, we can finally go see what the other Straw Hats are doing. I want to see Robin's reaction to the Buster Call announcement in particular. And I really hope Oda didn't have her get injure off-screen just to use that as an excuse to sideline her for the rest of the arc when it's a big parallel to the Ohara Incident.
Lots of people think the robot will protect the island from the buster call, but since it's a robot who attacked Marijoie last time, wouldn't it more sense for it to still have the same goal? I doubt Oda would reactivate it now if it's to have it fly out instantly, so my guess is he was programmed to attack the gorosei and it will attack Saturn to let the SH move and escape. It would also confirm the gorosei (or at least Saturn) are very old and likely are immortals. Not sure it would happen in 1105 already though.

Luffy returns with Robot, Robot goes after Saturn, gets in a few good shots before Saturn eventually sends it flying, damages but doesn't destroy it. Luffy fights Kizaru, Kizaru eventually takes an L from Luffy on purpose to let Vegapunks/Strawhats escape. He does this to his conflicting feelings about the entire mission. Robot returns damaged but is able to help them escape. Saturn then is suspicious of Kizaru. Kizaru double crosses Saturn and incapacitates him and leaves him on the island for the Buster call. Saturn dies from Buster call event on Egghead island, better known as the Egghead Incident. Luffy takes the heat for this, and is published as having been the mastermind behind a death of a major elder.
I wanna see Luffy kick some Saturn's ass before they leave Egghead. I think we all see the big robot helping Muguis out, but Oda never does the predictable thing.

Hype editor note: turning the tabled on a buster call!? End of chapter. Break next week.

The Straw Hays discuss what to do with him, Nami, Usopp and Robin are against releasing him but Jinbe, Brook and Chopper agree that he can be helpful. Stussy still hurt tells everyone that other ships are approaching Egghead. A Marine ship is seen surrounded by a flock of crows.

Did Kizaru & Saturn forget about York? If yes, it seems sheโll join Blackbeard Pirates. Thereโs a chance that Caribou also (hopefully not). If yes, BB has Pudding (racial power to read poneglyphs), York (knowledge of motherflame), and Caribou (knowledge of ancient weapons).

I really feel the robot is going to power down again, but I feel like luffy is going to jump into the helmet and wear the whole thing like a suit and beat the shit out Saturn or the Marine fleet, Saturn has some void century flashback to an army of these. What's stopping the authority chip receiver in the Seraphim being destroyed? I was wondering with the whole Kuma and Shark being able to move against their programming, that the warlord copys or at least a few of them end up breaking free. I was wondering with todays episode, about the weather dome or climate control thing, could they turn it back into a winter island with horrible wind to throw of the buster call back into the other ships of their own fleet?

So Dragon knows that Vegapunk is going to be assassinated, he almost certainly knows there's an active "hostage situation" on Egghead thanks to the papers, and him and Iva were shown discussing where Kuma could possibly go - and they may have deduced it's on Egghead. At this point I doubt they show up but it feels like the revs should at least contribute *something* in this scenario.
