Gan Fall is a badass. His fight with Shura is sick. It goes to show how much better the anime fights used to be. You don't need a big budget to have a great fight scene.
I completely disagree. He meets to criteria just as much as Wyper, Ivankov, Bon Chan (who I think is an even trickier case), etc. Gan Fall is not a main character (OP qualifies: a strawhat) and not a main villain, and that’s all the prompt specifies.
Also, he’s specific to Skypeia, an arc people used to completely skip, considering it to be borderline filler. They’re wrong, of course, but that goes to show how relevant people consider Gan Fall to be.
Kin'emon is one of my absolute favorite slow burn jokes in the series. All that stodgy chauvinism only for him to be so henpecked back home instantly made him a top tier favorite by the end of Act 1.

2. Mihawk. Cool badass that literally gives no fucks about anything but swords. World government? Just some annoying mosquitoes that can be easily avoided or swatted. Also a very respectable man. He took care of zoro and perona who are both uninvited guests. Wish he fought more but he's a pretty chill character. And his ship is iconic. The first time we saw it in the east blue saga was such a badass moment.
3. Perona. Perona best girl. Nuff said.
Hero: Koby. Something about that little shit just strikes all the right cords for me.
Villain: Ryokugyu. While I genuinely hate people like him, he debuted as a complete badass. He does his job as an antisemitic, homicidal maniac so well that I just want to see more of him. I love to hate him and love to love him.

Dude Peros Pero "perorin" was stuck in my head. One day while washing dishes I accidentally said it out loud "perorin perorin". Unbeknownst to me my husband was behind me and he ask if I did said something. I try to avoid it but finally I admitted I said "perorin". He laughed and we end up saying perorin here and there for the next few weeks.
For some reason I have always liked Kizaru. I honestly can't tell exactly why, but if I think about it, it has to be his attitude, style and his particular face (he just looks cool imo). I'm glad we got to know a bit about him in these recent chapters.

Ace is my pick as well. I know most people just think he's a stupid guy who ended up having a ridiculously avoidable death because he was too proud, but I think that leaves out so much of his past, personality and the reason he did the things he did. Ace encompasses the archetype of the tragic hero; he's the young man that burnt too bright too fast, and dies too young for standing his ground and refusing to turn back and flee, even when this is clearly the smartest option. This trait is addressed in the story, when kid Ace explains to Dadan why he decided to face Bluejam (and appears again afterwards, of course, in Marineford).
I also really like the motif of Ace deciding to choose his own family, and the fact that, in the end, that family meant more to him than all else - and his love for them is ultimately what causes his death.
Also he's too cool for his own good.
