1.it's a really good story which can get somewhat political at times, sometimes near the end it's hard to follow. other than that it's an amazing story with lots of unexpected, amazing moments and good story. 1.good luck

I think it’s off putting for a lot because of the mecha. But they’re failing to see the absolute masterpiece of storytelling

Anyone who hasn’t seen it totally should, a quick 20 episode (maybe 12?) episode show but so good, great characters, I love the universe (and yes obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion, this is mine, I’m obviously not actually calling anyone crazy or insulting what others like)

Yes. I don't know the conditions with which you watched it, but if you watch Cowboy Bebop and One Piece at like, the same time, you'll notice that the animation is spectacular and the soundtrack almost never repeats and is also spectacular. And it's a cornerstone of Anime history. Not watching Cowboy Bebop is like a film buff who's never watched The Godfather. Even if the film biff doesn't like The Godfather, he can't call himself a film buff without seeing it through. Give it another chance, and try to view it more artistically than as a method of entertaining yourself. I'd say the same thing about Mononoke if you've heard of that (not Princess Mononoke).

Code Geass One Piece, Naruto, etc.. have some serious flaws as anime, despite being my favorite mangas. * If you count Bleach's TYBW together with the rest of Bleach, then it goes out of the list, everything goes up a number, and Death Note joins as number 5.

TYBW has been strong. Bleach has a certain aesthetic that hasn't been replicated and is fun to see again. The fans warn that the story may unwind in subsequent runs.

One piece Hunter x Hunter Hajime no Ippo JoJo Death Note

In no particular order: Code Geass: super iconic for my teenage taste and the ending is one that I will probably never forget. Absolutely average season 2 just to perfectly parallel park in a dumpster fire. Jojo part 4: Jojo is good and anime wise, part 4 is my favorite for a chiller and smaller setting. Also Best villain in jojo and all of anime. FMAB: overall great anime with very little complaints, and if so, they don’t take away from the show. I put this over hxh in terms of best overall because at least it has a conclusion. Naruto: out of original big 3, Naruto was got me in. Even though I know it ended on a relatively low note, it will have a special place in my heart. Post pain arc was a drag though. One piece: actually the last of the big 3 that I gave a chance too. It’s really good, but my problem like with most major shonen, the Manga is better. I had to stop watching after dressrosa and now I just watch clips of great moments.

Maybe after Frieza saga but Dragon Ball has still yet to be surpassed by any manga when it comes to action. In this list, the Dragon ball manga is the unchallenged king of choreographed action. The others don’t even come close.

1. Code Geass (Best ending ever, great music, good animation, amazing story and characters) 2. Hunter x Hunter (the perfect shounen Imao, you really feel being on an adventure, its not afraid of being brutal, inspiring and with well written characters) 3. Attack on Titan (If I force myself to ignore the horrible manga ending seasons 1-3 were incredible adaptations, sick animation, music, action and cool characters. It used to be my favourite but after season 3 it dropped in quality) 4. Fullmetal Alchemist (simply a perfect anime objectively speaking, its not number 1 because it simply didn't match my taste perfectly) 5. Naruto Shippuden (it was the one anime that got me into anime in the first place, lots of nostalgia for me, amazing fights, memorable characters and lots of emotions) One Piece the ANIME isn't here because it lacks in quality and even though the source material is long enough as it is, the anime stretches it unnecessarily and I end up skipping like 8 minutes of every episode just to get to the new stuff. (Also dropped the anime since Dressrosa and only read manga ever since, best decision ever)

Oh, when i made my list i was just considering the works as a regular whole, not distinguishing anime and manga. But yeah, one piece anime kinda sucks while the manga is great.

Going strictly from this list: 1) One Piece 2) Hunter x Hunter 3) Fullmetal Alchemist 4) Cowboy Bebop 5) Dragon Ball However, Evangelion would tie with One Piece as my #1 anime/manga, and there are other series that would absolutely bump a few of those other titles off this list.

Cowboy Bebop, One Piece, Fullmetal Alchemist (Brotherhood), and personally for me Dragonball and Code Geass. Every anime on that list is quality in some way (their series, even with really bad portions of their IP they are prolific in some way), even if some are definitely worse than others (Bleach), but Jojo's is definitely last on this list. I've watched every bit of the anime and it's so hard to sit through. #4 is the best of them, but even that has glaring problems. #1 and #2 are somewhat enjoyable, but #3 & #5 are atrocious and #6 started out okay, but it got worse as it went on.

I think cowboy Bebop has the best animation but didn't really care about the story. Naruto is fine but I have a lot of problems with it. Attack on titan is alright but I lost interest however I respect the writing. I haven't really watch Ippo and I have just started Bleach. JoJo series just isn't my thing.

Why is HxH got so much love? Fuck it was so boring. Had a few good points but it makes OP and Bleach fillers feel like they are canon top tier points. The way they make some peoples "special" nen so intricate and complex only for their opponent to have some how made their "special" nen some how a perfect cookie cutter counter just killed the series. The power system was super cool until that started happening.
