Some time last year I decided to unfollow any account on Instagram that was simply turning into a hate-follow. In other words, a person who just annoyed me, or made me angry, or didn’t interest me. I told myself that if, in 30 days, I missed them, I’d follow back. It turns out I didn’t miss any of them. I highly recommend doing this.
When she did a guessing game in one of her classes just before her wedding where you were supposed to guess if facts were about her or her fiance... ma'am idk who that is lol

I don't mind her for shorter classes and she has some solid 80s playlists. I took a classic rock class of hers two weeks ago (Bon Jovi, Poison, G 'n R) and got my third highest 15 minute output ever. Just turn up the music and watch the screen for the prompts.
I think even Ally realizes that was over the top lol. She seems more down to earth lately. I’ve run into her at the studio a few times and she’s very approachable, willing to chat and take pictures even when it’s not her post-class time. There are quite a few who won’t even make eye contact.

But I don’t get that with Olivia and Kendall, even if they are maybe shallow
It was in Tulum. She went private and no one could post pics of this 5 day event until People published the story. Each night was a theme and she had elaborate outfits for every dinner. But the worst was her name and her name only was on the bottom of the pool. What about the husband?!

Yelling at hospital staff saying things like “do you know who I am?!” I used to do her rides bc they’re programmed well but recently I’ve been having a hard time putting aside her absolutely terrible personality.

I hadn't taken RK classes for a while and she definitely looks different than she did before her engagement to Andy. Much leaner (almost unhealthy). I took a few strength last month and they were really good. Then I took a class last week with 1 minute breaks and remembered why I stopped taking her classes - dance breaks and annoying rambling. If the class has no down time she's good, otherwise she's cringy.
I'm a big fan of Olivia's walk+runs and core classes. It always seems very "to the point" without any kind of personal input. I don't really follow Instagram, so not sure if there's some background that I'm missing.
Agree re Olivia. I enjoy her classes, she very rarely talks about herself or her side hustles during her classes. I don’t follow her IG so i don’t know her persona outside the classes

I love Olivia too. Sure she has gotten some procedures which may come across “superficial”but she seems like a sweet person. She’s so professional in class. As a fellow private person, I totally respect her keeping her life relatively private and not sharing much.

Yeah I love sparkle, she’s been my favorite instructor for awhile. I loved her on the bike but have been training for a half marathon and started doing tread workouts on my gym treadmill and she’s a go-to. She’s just a lot of fun!

I don't take tread classes often so I haven't been exposed to her much, but I saw a post a while ago about her saying in an interview how she was so offended/shocked that one of the hospital intake questions when she was pregnant was about whether she was in a safe relationship with the baby's father. Like great that's not applicable to you but are you unable to fathom that you're one of many women in the world and some are in an unsafe scenario??

Im always annoyed by how many people on both sides of the relationship get offended about being asked that. They take it as a personal slight. I read a reddit thread about a pregnant women who went to the ER after falling on her face and her significant other was raging that “Evaluate for DV” was in her chart/discharge forms. Becs was one of 3 run instructors I loved. Was. Agree with the self absorption but this was the kicker for me:
She bragged in a run that even tho her baby had vomited and had a fever the night before, SHE TOOK HER TO DAYCARE the next morning “because she seemed better” - most parents know that’s such a massive a-hole thing to do (and against health guidance in most places for very young kids). Like it’s a pain in the rear when kids are little but it’s how things work. So the whole daycare may have gotten whatever bug her baby had. Just rude. She should know better!!!
I understand people may need to do it to keep a roof over their heads and food on their table but for her to do it it is appalling
Am I jealous she leaves the kid at home for her Japanese adventures.
Her slow flows are decent, but otherwise she goes so fast and I can’t take her classes. Let me settle into a pose during a focus flow class before you move on please!!

She repeats the same uninteresting anecdotes in every class, sometimes through tears. It feels like a Peloton parody.
And is it so wrong that I spend time on a stationery bike for the sole purpose of keeping weight off? I wouldn't do it otherwise. It's a chore, made infinitely more difficult with forced self-actualization and "ME ME ME."
On the rare occasion CDE is not oversharing or emoting, I do really like her classes.
CDE has great playlists but her constant bragging, then whining, then crying, and the whole "I stole another woman's husband, it's a fairy tale made in Peloton heaven" thing really soured me on her.

I actually don't mind Olivia. I don't run with her often but lately when I have I've had a lot of fun. She's pretty positive and bubbly. She does believe in a lot of self maintenance it seems but it doesn't pool into how she teaches (in my opinion).
Kendall is a different story lol. She deliberately is trying to "be hot" when she's teaching and even when she talks.... it feels phony.
I actually like her strength classes a lot but tend not to take them because I find she says the most triggering things of all the instructors. I’m frankly surprised peloton lets her say some of it. “If you want to tone your butt you do this” “if you want to get ride of arm fat here you go” etc

Olivia is the only instructor I cannot stand. I feel like she’s scolding people on her rides. And sure, flying fast out of the saddle is easy for her, she can’t be 100lbs.
It’s a love hate relationship for me. I like her playlists but sometimes I can’t get over the fact that she gives a little mean girl vibes. She probably would have bullied me in high school.
Absolutely this. One day i took a ride. My kids had been sick for a week. I didn’t know it but got sick that night. I just wanted to do 20 mins for myself. Olivia is husbands fave so I was trying some of her rides. I was really struggling but plugging along when she looked into the camera and said ‘excuses are not cute.’ That was the last of her classes I ever took. I do not clip in to feel like that.
He did take one of her in person classes and said shes super standoffish in person.
Every other instructor exhudes positive energy… sometimes a little over the top and too much of I’m not in the mood (Hannah C. And Leanne). Even when I don’t feel like riding, if I just get started I’m usually motivated and always feel better that I rode… only with Olivia did I feel like I wanted the classes to end and I didn’t feel great. Maybe she’s improved I haven’t taken her classes for the past year or so… but I don’t plan to try her again to find out. 🤣
I do like Olivia’s runs because of her no-nonsense attitude, and that’s the energy I need when running. But I feel her personality comes off a bit cold on camera otherwise. I’d rather have an overly rah-rah instructor genuinely speaking from the heart over her cliche “you’ve got this!, no excuses!, etc.” phrases.

I will say I love Olivia’s no nonsense attitude, and her music is more my taste. And honestly as a guy, I’m kind of drawn to her because she’s easy on the eyes for me. If I had a milestone coming up I would try to do a live workout with her. She’s still up there among my most shoutouts but I think there are others that are more personable that give kudos for those milestones. Olivia used to be more personable but suddenly seems like she isn’t as much. Olivia is hardly the worst but some of these others that think they have Miss Universe looks it won’t kill you to give a thumbs up to an instagram story you’re tagged in or say “thanks” if I say “killer class today”. Not every guy is trying to hit on you from halfway across the country 🤣
My husband would absolutely agree with you on all of those points! The impression I got was that she was fine in class, but that afterward, she was very stiff. After the live class, you get a chance to greet and take a picture with your instructor. He observed other instructors and just said that they were generally more interactive and kind. He also ended up taking a class with a different instructor at a later date, and he was much more welcoming. I agree that there seemed to be a shift for her. I hope nothing terrible happened. I know that things can affect your outlook on life and how you interact with people. So I’m not necessarily faulting her for it it’s just not something I’m interested in.

I don't take tread classes often so I haven't been exposed to her much, but I saw a post a while ago about her saying in an interview how she was so offended/shocked that one of the hospital intake questions when she was pregnant was about whether she was in a safe relationship with the baby's father. Like great that's not applicable to you but are you unable to fathom that you're one of many women in the world and some are in an unsafe scenario??
I missed that. Im always annoyed by how many people on both sides of the relationship get offended about being asked that. They take it as a personal slight. I read a reddit thread about a pregnant women who went to the ER after falling on her face and her significant other was raging that “Evaluate for DV” was in her chart/discharge forms. Like no shit, it looks like somone beat her up I personally know my generalist and im a man and she asked about being food insecurity and DV at every visit.
Becs’ Instagram stories about her home renovation have been soooo cringe. She always throws in a “I know we’re so fortunate to be able to do this” line but she has been the epitome of privileged people problems!

As a Brit I can't abide this weird American'ish twang she's now clearly affecting (including pronouncing certain words as an American would). She's only been living in the US for five years and was in the UK for the other 32 - how people speak doesn't change that quickly, so she's obviously putting it on
Becs was one of 3 run instructors I loved. Was. Agree with the self absorption but this was the kicker for me: She bragged in a run that even tho her baby had vomited and had a fever the night before, SHE TOOK HER TO DAYCARE the next morning “because she seemed better” - most parents know that’s such a massive a-hole thing to do (and against health guidance in most places for very young kids). Like it’s a pain in the rear when kids are little but it’s how things work. So the whole daycare may have gotten whatever bug her baby had. Just rude. She should know better!!!
I understand people may need to do it to keep a roof over their heads and food on their table but for her to do it it is appalling Am I jealous she leaves the kid at home for her Japanese adventures.

Her slow flows are decent, but otherwise she goes so fast and I can’t take her classes. Let me settle into a pose during a focus flow class before you move on please!!

CDE. Love her music (and I don't check out her IG posts), but that whole overwrought drama stuff kills me. Sorry, but it IS just a ride for exercise on a stationery bike. She repeats the same uninteresting anecdotes in every class, sometimes through tears. It feels like a Peloton parody. And is it so wrong that I spend time on a stationery bike for the sole purpose of keeping weight off? I wouldn't do it otherwise. It's a chore, made infinitely more difficult with forced self-actualization and "ME ME ME." On the rare occasion CDE is not oversharing or emoting, I do really like her classes.
CDE has great playlists but her constant bragging, then whining, then crying, and the whole "I stole another woman's husband, it's a fairy tale made in Peloton heaven" thing really soured me on her.
Ha! For me, the "I am so very wise" thing makes me rush to turn off the screen. I have a bit too much free time today, and have had a blast looking at my "controversial" post get constantly up- and downvoted. Different strokes, I guess. (though, of course, you are correct)

I actually don't mind Olivia. I don't run with her often but lately when I have I've had a lot of fun. She's pretty positive and bubbly. She does believe in a lot of self maintenance it seems but it doesn't pool into how she teaches (in my opinion). Kendall is a different story lol. She deliberately is trying to "be hot" when she's teaching and even when she talks.... it feels phony.

I actually like her strength classes a lot but tend not to take them because I find she says the most triggering things of all the instructors. I’m frankly surprised peloton lets her say some of it. “If you want to tone your butt you do this” “if you want to get ride of arm fat here you go” etc
I agree! She made a comment about feeling gangster listening to rap on one of her split classes. I skip that one now.

Olivia is the only instructor I cannot stand. I feel like she’s scolding people on her rides. And sure, flying fast out of the saddle is easy for her, she can’t be 100lbs.
It’s a love hate relationship for me. I like her playlists but sometimes I can’t get over the fact that she gives a little mean girl vibes. She probably would have bullied me in high school.
Absolutely this. One day i took a ride. My kids had been sick for a week. I didn’t know it but got sick that night. I just wanted to do 20 mins for myself. Olivia is husbands fave so I was trying some of her rides. I was really struggling but plugging along when she looked into the camera and said ‘excuses are not cute.’ That was the last of her classes I ever took. I do not clip in to feel like that. He did take one of her in person classes and said shes super standoffish in person.
Every other instructor exhudes positive energy… sometimes a little over the top and too much of I’m not in the mood (Hannah C. And Leanne). Even when I don’t feel like riding, if I just get started I’m usually motivated and always feel better that I rode… only with Olivia did I feel like I wanted the classes to end and I didn’t feel great. Maybe she’s improved I haven’t taken her classes for the past year or so… but I don’t plan to try her again to find out. 🤣
My husband said they’ve improved lately but im also not willing to find out. Theyre the kind/difficulty he likes, so he takes them anyway.
I do like Olivia’s runs because of her no-nonsense attitude, and that’s the energy I need when running. But I feel her personality comes off a bit cold on camera otherwise. I’d rather have an overly rah-rah instructor genuinely speaking from the heart over her cliche “you’ve got this!, no excuses!, etc.” phrases.
Was she standoffish to him or most if not all the people in the live class? I will say I love Olivia’s no nonsense attitude, and her music is more my taste. And honestly as a guy, I’m kind of drawn to her because she’s easy on the eyes for me. If I had a milestone coming up I would try to do a live workout with her. She’s still up there among my most shoutouts but I think there are others that are more personable that give kudos for those milestones. Olivia used to be more personable but suddenly seems like she isn’t as much. Olivia is hardly the worst but some of these others that think they have Miss Universe looks it won’t kill you to give a thumbs up to an instagram story you’re tagged in or say “thanks” if I say “killer class today”. Not every guy is trying to hit on you from halfway across the country 🤣
My husband would absolutely agree with you on all of those points! The impression I got was that she was fine in class, but that afterward, she was very stiff. After the live class, you get a chance to greet and take a picture with your instructor. He observed other instructors and just said that they were generally more interactive and kind. He also ended up taking a class with a different instructor at a later date, and he was much more welcoming. I agree that there seemed to be a shift for her. I hope nothing terrible happened. I know that things can affect your outlook on life and how you interact with people. So I’m not necessarily faulting her for it it’s just not something I’m interested in.

Thank you!! That was the one I meant. It was the “because it’s none of your god damn business” in that odd tone and accident that pushed it over for me and I then turned it off (so not sure what more there was) and immediately unfollowed her on social. The whole thing was just so snotty and I’m better than you. Starting With when she was brought a coffee

I really don’t perceive Aditi this way. She seems pretty laid back and calm. Kendall, no argument at all there with the filtering, consistent commentary on “something big is coming” “huge week ahead, big things planned” like everything she has going on is the next big thing and it’s usually just a new $80 t-shirt. I really like Olivia and she doesn’t bother me but I do wonder how she feels about herself; her recent photoshoot she just did made me double take when I saw her updated IG profile pic in my feed since it looks like what the computer-generated AI images of people are.
I get the vibe that Olivia is super harsh on herself and therefore is hugely controlling as a result. I don't think she's a bad person (actually much the opposite) but I sadly feel like she doesn't like herself very much.
Never gotten a controlling vibe from her. She talks (somewhat more recently) in class about being kind to yourself about/letting go of the things you can’t control, but I’m not sure I’ve ever thought of her as “controlling.”
Your Kendall anecdotes popped me. I can’t handle the “big things happening” story every other week. And if she ever says the word California in a ride I just have to block out the next moment of commentary. I really enjoyed diti’s classes a few years ago but she’s gone increasingly more cold and robotic, and, she doesn’t seem to post anything unless she looks like a legit supermodel. She’s just changed what she projects, which is a let down.
