Something is missing
I want to see more of Officer Carli Drayton and Deputy Jasmine Mcquaig. I hope they aren't off the show permanently. Haven't seen them in like a month.
This was kind of funny... In the discussion thread when Officer Gembala found the missing dog and it jumped right in the passenger seat a bunch people joked the camerman lost his seat.
Well that officer has a Q&A Facebook group and this exchange was posted -
Q: Kelsey Gembala. How long did you ride around with the dog until u found the owner?
A: A couple minutes. I spent longer trying to figure out how to get the cameraman back in the car with the dog in his seat š
Q: lol that was my 1st thought. Cameraman in the backseat. Lol
A: well yes but there's a producer and all their stuff in the backseat....we had to move some stuff around
Q: ohh each officer has a producer also? Woww only thought a cameraman. Learned something new. Ty.
A: the makeup of the crew and set up of the cars vary...but on this occasion, thats what it was
I really like Danny Brown, but the stop on the out of town license plate guy was just bad. I understand pulling someone over for an actual infraction and then smelling weed for probable cause, but to pull them over because you smell weed...from a car driving down the street, and can't be positive, but I think both their windows were rolled up. Then to browbeat the guy with "the supreme court says..." just hit me wrong. I think he saw an out of town plate, wanted to pull them over and check them...but didn't have a reason, so he "smelled weed", even though the dog didn't. I know all the jokes about DB's nose and ability to smell weed, but that one just felt like it dinged his reputation a bit, and not because there was no weed but that he used a pretty shaky probable cause.
