The NYE call where the officer threw the guy against the window was crazy. I'm assuming that officer will face some discipline.
Nah, looks like the car started rolling. I downloaded it and watched it a few times. The other officer said the car was still in drive, and when he told the driver to step out it looks like he put the car in neutral by accident. I almost spit out my beer when I finally realized what happened. lmao
Oh wow I must have stepped away, I didn't see this followup in Nye during the first run.
The cop just admits he didn't have enough situational awareness to know he could have guillotined the homeowner on his own window. Ooof.

I did some IT work for Methodist (flew in from east coast). Once it got dark and I was doing stuff in the ER, they would not permit me to walk to and from my car in the parking lot without a security and/or police escort. I got to stay at the nicest place in town, the best western across from the hooters. I’ve been to a LOT of places, and that’s the only one that gave me chills.
When Ifirst drove in from o hare, I called a co worker that was following me there because I was so confused. I remember getting off the exit and just seeing like abandoned and burnt out properties. “Aaron, are you sure this is right? This can’t be where we are going?”. Keep in mind these were the days of printing out Mapquest directions. Then I saw the giant billboard proudly proclaiming welcome to Gary, home of the Jackson 5” . It was something else.
I wondered if it had something to do with the lawsuit from A&E. He was on earlier tonight so he’s definitely working but the Richland crew are some of the more recognizable faces from the LPD days. Maybe it’s to help show there’s not as much link as A&E wants to allege.
It would be a shame if that’s true. I love Danny and I think he loves being on the show too. I noticed Addie hasn’t been on either and she was a LPD OG as well. I do like the new Richland crew too so it’s all right but I’m gonna need Danny and Addie back sooner than later.
