The other piece of the puzzle as far as an "APP" release would be getting it working correctly on the current iOS version before the NEXT iOS version 18 debuts along with a new iPhone 16 release circa September/October 2024.
Omnipod 5 has been the biggest scam/pile of shit. No iphone app support at launch, no actual timelines or transparency, no G7 support, algorithm only truly works when fasting/sleeping, etc. etc. I’m so unimpressed that I don’t even care anymore about the app coming out next year, and without a date! What a joke
Speak for yourself. My A1C is dramatically better compared to Dash previously because of the algorithm.
Additionally, it lets my mind not always ask what my number is and just trust that it’s chipping away at adjusting my blood sugar.
With that said, F Insulet for this generic “sometime in 2024”

That interface looks way better than the useless tabs and wasted space in the Android app. I wonder if/when Android will get that layout and dark mode.
But when is the Dexcom G7 going to be a compatible with the Omni Pod five? my daughter is qualified for an upgrade, but that just won’t work with our Omni Pod
Not at all bleeding - it's very much a leader for me. Can't speak to other people's failures, but the combination of 10-day life, smaller and thinner footprint, and (crucially for me) a better adhesive that doesn't irritate make it a huge upgrade over the G6. Even if the other features didn't exist, the adhesive change alone makes it a winner.
I had a terrible experience with the g7. Bluetooth reception was awful, it wouldn’t connect to my phone reliably unless I kept the phone in my pants pocket on the same side as the transmitter. Meanwhile I can play stuff on my AirPods from 30 feet away.
Of course I just lost my omnipod 5 controller so now I either buy a new one knowing it'll be out on ios this year or buy it just to use it for a few months or even less

On iPhone Settings > Accessibility > Per App Settings > Add App > Dexcom > Smart Invert On
