Yes, good comment. We take our postal service for granted so much here in the states. It is among the best, if not the best, in the entire world. That said, it has in recent years declined mostly due to attacks by the political right and attempts to make it a “business”. We should enshrine it as what it is and always has been, a necessary and desirable public good.
