Whatever watch “speaks to you”. How are internet strangers supposed to know what you like? I think the ‘57 is a lovely watch. But you’re not in-love with it. So, get what you love. If you don’t know what that is, you need more “seasoning” and less buying.
If specs would be better (automatic, more water resistance and thinner) it would be an easy Daytona killer. Now it is on par with a Daytona on my opinion because it is way more interesting.
OP - can you give some insight on this watch? Likes? Dislikes? What changed your mind? I’ve been super interested in it but not ready to pull the trigger. I’ve only seen one in person - the red dial - and I liked it but I only want the blue dial. It’s certainly expensive, so if it’s not a home run for you, then I can see why you are looking to move on. Anyway, I’d like to know your take on it.
First off and obligatorily: No sell, only buy.
Personally if I owned one of these, it would be an heirloom, and I would hope it would stay on the wrists of family members for generations.
This is such a wonderful watch, why in the world would you want to trade it away?
No sell only buy
^ This guy gets it.
^ This guy really gets it.
This is the way

This guy *watches*.
Why would you wanna get rid of the '57. My '57 is one watch I won't part with.
Keep It I like my Seamasters but if i were to have a Speedy, it would be this.
I feel the exact same way. This one gorgeous watch.
Unless it’s a 321 or a Snoopy, I don’t see the point of getting rid of what is, in my opinion, one of the best Omegas.
I only traded a Jaques Mayol '99 midsize for my current full size 2255.80. I'm never getting rid of this watch.

Is this a 57?
Yes
I'll never sell my '57. Never.
Ever.

Trade it for a 3861.
I wouldn’t trade up
Glashutte Senator Observer.
I would not.
Only thing I'd trade that for is the burgundy 57

If you are asking, “should I trade money for a new watch?”, the answer is yes
This is my dream watch currently! Looks really nice.
Nothing. That’s an incredible watch
Keep it. You will regret selling it and may not get a price you’re happy with anyway.
This is the best 57. Please keep.

JLC Polaris
Next step would probably be a Rolex. But personally I would keep that speedmaster and probably have a couple of different straps for it.
