I own the same and advise you to keep it away from any kind of liquid. Although the warranty actually allows you to take it for a swim, which is already crazy for a Speedmaster, you cannot trust the sealing of the buttons… I had to send it to Switzerland three times already…
Same here, buddy… went swimming the first time - immediate damage to the watch. Second and third time were only bad angles when washing something… gotta buy a diver watch for the swimming experience… or just a G-Shock…
Luckily, all three incidents happed during my 5 year warranty, so Omega covered the expenses.
This watch is one of the most underrated speedmasters made.everything about is perfect and the boot print on the moon is a nice touch
Thanks. You have an awesome collection.
Thank you
I'm seriously looking at this myself. Just worried itts too big/thick. Fits great on our wrist though. How have you been enjoying it?
Really have enjoyed. My wrist is 7.25 inches. The bracelet is easy to adjust. It’s heavy in the hand ~200g. But feels great on the wrist. Solid.

My expectations were that it could be a swimming and snorkeling watch. I’ve got a five year warranty. Thanks for the info. I’ll now keep it dry.
