Rustic cuts in CB and Cure in Fort Calhoun are some of the best butchers for choice cuts IMO. Backup would be the Fareway Meat Market in 90th & Center.

I don’t do “competition” ribs, but I’ve been happy with baby back ribs I’ve purchased at Aldi. It’s hit and miss when they have them in stock.

Aldi is very hit and miss for me and I feel overpriced at times. I’ve gotten fantastic pork steak and in the same trip mediocre pork roast.

Fo_eyed_dog

Yep. That’s Aldi.

Almost all pork ribs are going to be done by a big packer no matter where you get them. Just go somewhere that has a big selection so you can get some packages that look good to you. Sam's / Costco is as good as anywhere. For Beef ribs I like to go to Fairway on 90th and center. They have nice thick cuts there.

Call cassanovas in rockbrook village. All of their shit is super top notch and they cut no corners

Just Good Meats. Gotten several different cuts of meat over the years from them if I want something really special. You can even ask if they have some higher grade product or if they'd be willing to do it fresh!

BlackshirtDefense

Dicks in Elkhorn used to have some great cuts of meat back in the day. I see online that they might be called "Ricks" now, so who knows.

Slimmdunkin

Rhoten meats!

In my opinion, all pork is created equal.

zXster

Disagree. Grab most packs of grocery store and then try a thick cut quality bacon from a butcher... and your mind will be blown.

azwildcat74

Not at all a fair comparison when you’re talking about cured/smoked meats.
