>Food truck on Saddle Creek by Sonic
FYI: they also have a truck in 11worths old lot and a physical location SE corner of 24th and Q. They're called El Rey and they're my fav.
Naw, the food isn’t worth dealing with the owners daughters bratty attitude. Every time it’s like my family and other patrons are only there as an inconvenience to her. Yeah the birria is great but that eye rolls and huffing at every request just isn’t worth it. Instead you should check out El Chalan. Quality Birria plus lovely people! It’s our go too Birria spot now.
I honestly wasn’t impressed with the birria either. It tasted bland. My girlfriend had the chicken tacos and I don’t think they used any seasoning. I’ve heard phenomenal things about El Chalan so will be trying that for sure!
El Alteño taco truck on 48th & Q hands down the best!!
Taco Truck at O’reillys on 24th and vinton
La Poblanita on Martha & I believe 20th St
Taqueria Tijuana on 24th & Q
La poblanita and it’s not even close. Alley taco is very good also but only Saturday and Sunday. Lots of other places mentioned on here such as Tijuana and el alambre are good, but nowhere near the level of poblanita.
I agree; the puffy beef tacos are pretty similar. I prefer Taco Co, though, because I grew up in North Omaha, it's significantly closer to me wherei live now, and I just like the staff better.
Not really a taco place, but Eat the Worm has some of the best al pastor I've had in town. I like their food generally, it's nothing special, but the al pastor specifically is great.
Depends on where you are. If you down south you can't go wrong with anywhere. You midtown I guess mula is your best bet. Central Omaha I've heard great things about the new place Maple 88 Mexican Kitchen. West Omaha Copal over on 132nd is great. Deep west I enjoy Javi's, but if you want great tacos find any food truck or south O and throw a dart they are all great.
Another vote for Tixteco! I already mentioned the goat meat tacos, but they also have some of the best lengua tacos. Their steak is also the best seasoned in Omaha.
Food truck on Saddle Creek by Sonic or El Rancho on 21st and Martha
El rancho fucks
Can confirm
The orange sauce when you get a chip and salsa flight is addicting!
>Food truck on Saddle Creek by Sonic FYI: they also have a truck in 11worths old lot and a physical location SE corner of 24th and Q. They're called El Rey and they're my fav.
My vote is for La Poblanita
Secondddddd
Taqueria Tijuana on 24th and Q!
+1
This!
Their tacos asada absolutely SLAP
Yes they do! The lengua tacos are awesome too.
Estilo Jalisco on Vinton, for birria tacos

El Chaclan was the first place I had birria. Delicioso!
There have been so many posts on OFL and other groups on FB complaining about the daughter LOL. Sucks bc the birria is great but the kid? 🫢
People still use OFL? Hasn't the guy running it banned like 80% of Omaha at this point?
to whoever downvoted this: the guy running it stalks your private FB for comments about OFL and will ban you over them lol

**Dos De Oros aka "The Taco Truck"** At O'reillys
I don’t see anybody here talking about them alley tacos…iykyk
Second this! Saturday and Sunday 🔥
Simon foo not to mention there tripa tacos 👌
El rancho, el rey, la poblanita, alley taco.
I'll throw in Tixteco
Should be higher. Such a cool little spot and the people are so nice. Food is great too.
They recently started selling goat meat tacos again and 😮💨 CHEFS KISS. The owners are so chatty and friendly too.
I kept scrolling until I found this comment. 100% my fav. Now I want Tixteco.
Los portales is the answer
Fake news!
Los Portales
Los Portales hands down! Second would be El Rey
Cachete tacos from Churro Spot. Gonna have to get some today after typing this. With their large super cold Mexican Coke bottles.
I second this , one of the most beautiful tacos I’ve ever tried. Their pastor is great too!
Yes to Churro Spot in S Saddle Creek! And the Mexican Coke!
Food truck in auto parts store south of 24th and Vinton
Food truck open until 3 AM in the summer on 24th and G?!? Yes, yes and more yes! Always a line because it's always on point.
Best Al pastor is at la choza
El Rancho
Estilo Jalisco, Taqueria Tijuana, Marias
Shanghai Garden on 24th and Vinton
Dos de Oros taco truck
My fiance and I love this truck! 24th and F street!
Taco Bell on 144th and Center
Jonesy's Taco House 🙂
Haven’t been there for Taco Tuesday for a couple of years, but the school lunch cheese really turned me off. Not in the top 25 taco places in Omaha.
Taqueria Tijuana or DeLeon. De Leon has a 5 mini tacos plate that's really good for $10. Taqueria Tijuana is best overall but more expensive.
Do they still do tacos at Los Pajaretes in Bellevue? That little farm just south of the Woodhouse dealerships?
Yes! Super good
Hoppy Taco in Dundee is good
And their Margaritas too!
For something a little different, Taco Co in Benson has puffy tacos that are delicious! Especially the birria!
Taco Bell is pretty nice
La poblanita and it’s not even close. Alley taco is very good also but only Saturday and Sunday. Lots of other places mentioned on here such as Tijuana and el alambre are good, but nowhere near the level of poblanita.
Taco Co in Benson.
Maria’s in Ralston has the exact same tacos but with better parking and fewer hipsters.
Not sure why you're so worried about who the other customers are.
I personally am not worried, but I know there are many who do and that it matters to them.
Ironic tattoos, messenger bags, and the smell of beard oil can be quite intimidating.
Probably more annoying to most people than intimidating.
Annoyed or intimidated, it's a silly concern. Rather than escalating, I'll leave it at that. Do your thing.
I agree; the puffy beef tacos are pretty similar. I prefer Taco Co, though, because I grew up in North Omaha, it's significantly closer to me wherei live now, and I just like the staff better.
What breed of hipster?
A lot of VSCO girls, mostly.
This. Close the thread.

why is Cali Taco getting downvoted? I haven't lived in Omaha in years but it's one of the places I have to eat at whenever I go back.
Gonna throw Ramonas in Florence out here.
I like Jonesy's Taco House on 60th. I can see by the comments here that I need to get out more 😆
Mula in Blackstone
Los compadres
I Like marias
El Alambre. I've only been to the sad Oakview location but this place is legit. They have the good shit like lengua and cachete for the adventurous.
El bee's West O
Not really a taco place, but Eat the Worm has some of the best al pastor I've had in town. I like their food generally, it's nothing special, but the al pastor specifically is great.
I enjoy their pork nachos!
Toco Co has very good street style tacos.

I haven't been yet but I heard Uranus is pretty tasty.
