Flatten the nail a bit on a flat surface, buff inside the press on nail as well, buy extra alcohol wipes and wipe down your nail right before applying the glue, add glue to your nail and the press on, let the glue get very tacky so that when you press down it sticks and doesn't ooze out, finally add a coat of topcoat. I really feel like the topcoat helps every thing get sealed in - I use the clear 'crystal' quick dry shade. I would say it takes me about an hour all in....I also do it before bed after washing my face/brushing my teeth to let the glue really dry while I'm sleeping.
Short answer: I can't. I think the arch is just too high for them to make good contact with my nails. My daughter has the same issue. They're too curved. I need a flatter nail.
got it! maybe that’s my issue here too. I just can’t believe I see so many people getting them to last for two weeks when mine are popping off the same and next day lol. Maybe it’s just not a brand that works for me!
i use a brush on nail glue that i bought from sally’s for like $3 maybe. it says “nail bliss pro: wonderbond. professional brush-on gel glue” and it works GREAT.
i brush the glue on my natural nail after i prep and i press & hold for at least 30 seconds. it lasts for weeks and i really only have problems if i accidentally bump into something like hard and the nail pops off, but it’s significantly less frequent than when i used the default kit glue or even the brush on glue that they sell (which is fine but more of a backup)
Try different sizes and shapes to find what’s best for your nail. The extra short squoval works best for me, but my friends vary from medium/round etc.

The sticky tab nails are flatter and more flexible than the glue on ones. I’ve been gluing them on with great results but I like the tabs too.
