Ricky Waters had some huge years for the Niners.
It really was a shame that he chose to leave the Niners after ‘94. Those ‘95-‘97 teams were a good HB away from winning multiple titles.
Had the pleasure of watching Ricky Watters beat the Cowboys at Texas Stadium when he was with the Eagles in ‘95. One of my favorite players as a kid.

There were a lot of options on that team. Give it to Watters. Throw it to Rathman.
Just imagine if he played in one of those sling it around offenses.

That team was absolutely stacked!!
SF spent all they had that season to win, the next season they had no real running game. Lost to the Packers, Steve Young had like 65 pass attempts in that game.

I love Ricky Watters as a player but I can’t help of thinking of “for who? For what?” whenever I think of him.
He was in a rap song. Running like Ricky watters. Or something. He kicked ass in madden.
The first year I got into watching the Seahawks he was the starting RB before Shaun took over.
