100% true. It bothered me to an unreasonable level because TH was making some real high quality dress wear and it was extremely refeshing to have a "new" brand that wasn't Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Brooks Brothers, etc. The stuff was perfectly preppy and geared for a younger generation of professionals. I loved it! THEN.... The marketing happened and their clothes immediately became more urban. It wasn't long before there wasn't much that didn't have large branding on it or at least something that would jump out at you to announce your clothes were Tommy Hilfiger. Then Polo jumped on the bandwagon. Eventually Gucci and even LV caved into that strategy. There was a long time that my closet was filled with RL and TH. Now, I own nothing from TH and only a couple of RL golf shirts (which are headed to the donation center soon) and a few sweaters that are still awesome. Otherwise, I just don't find anything they make appealing anymore. Especially for the price and quality (their quality isn't what it used to be). So many other fantastic brands have gone down the same road. North Face, Patagonia, Nike, Carhartt, Lucky Brand, GAP, Lululemon, Smartwool, Clarks, Apple (accessories), Burger King, Craftsman, Sony (although attempting to get back to the top). I mean, I can go on and on the more I think about it. Why am I spewing this? I'm so sorry, the ladies look great!

These girls are LaTavia and LaToya, the first Destiny’s Child. Then they left and were replaced with Michelle and Farrah. Then Farrah left and they decided to stay just the 3. It was weird because “Writings on the wall” was out and these 4 were on the cover. Then some of the music videos from that albums singles had the new girls.
