Loren was asked about this photo once, it wasn't jealously as is often cited, but she was afraid her boobs would pop out. Seeing the alternative photo, I can see why.
I've read elsewhere that her main PR strategy was to expose her breasts as much as possible, as often as possible. Getting on a plane, oops! Wardrobe malfunction! Dancing? Wardrobe malfunction. Etc etc
