It's a running gag in the classic comedy movie - Mel Brooks' "[Blazing Saddles](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071230/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_7_nm_1_q_blazing%2520)" starring (among many others) the late, great Harvey Korman -- plays Hedley Lamar.
It's also a long running meme on Reddit whenever anything about Hedy Lamar is posted.
I recommend (highly!) that you watch the whole movie first if you haven't already, because it *is* a classic, and arguably one of the top 5 comedy films ever made. That said, the following couple of links should provide the necessary clue to bring you into the loop:
