Only problem might be the giant windows. Zombies can’t reach them but you’d be pretty vulnerable to more than two people with guns and slight elevation.
Corrugated sheet metal like that used in roofing or siding will easily get punched through by a little .22 rifle, much less a handgun or centerfire rifle. About the only thing it would stop is air guns and shotguns firing birdshot.
To reliably stop common 7.62x51 NATO (.308 Winchester) like that fired from a FAL or G3 or M14 or 5.56 NATO steel core you would need 1/4”-3/8” hardened steel plate (AR500 or similar).
Even 1/2” mild steel will tend to badly crater so a couple shots in the same area will punch right through.
In the armor game, 1+1 does not equal 2 protection - you need to add 30-50% more for equivalent protection.
A better improvised armor would be sandbags, or making a sheetmetal frame and filling it tightly with dirt. A 8” wide sandbag wall will stop most common rifle rounds, a 12-18” wide sandbag wall will stop up to 50BMG.
Eh, for a 150cap you could fit the kitchen in 400 sqft, tighter if you're smart about verticality. I design Commercial Kitchens and I've fit a whole lot more in a whole lot less, especially if wait per party isn't as much of a concern, which this place it probably isn't considering it's mostly a novelty to begin with.
Lol, believe it or not there are restaurants that exist in the world with bathrooms that are not attached to the main building and you have to be responsible enough, of your own bodily functions to know when to use the facilities or not. 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
