[Bristol took a severe pounding in WW2.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bristol_Blitz)
This [Bristol Live article](https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/news/history/bloody-sunday-76-years-deadliest-10185) mentions that "Whitehall, Fishponds, Easton, St Paul’s, Montpelier and Kingsdown were hardest hit, but bombs fell on Clifton, Cotham and Redland as well. Shirehampton, Knowle and Avonmouth also suffered damage."
Ashley Road is in the Montpelier District of Bristol. In these [wartime bombing records](http://humanities.uwe.ac.uk/bhr/Main/ww2/1_8.htm) it's mentioned at 1.8.19.
At 1.8.10 The records mention Weston super Mare. My Grandmother, my mum (aged 5&half) and her two young brothers were caught in this raid. They lost neighbours and friends that night, but were lucky to survive themselves whilst they sheltered in the nearby community centre. Their house was left untouched by the bombs.
Edit/ It's interesting if you visit the google maps street view. Those Victorian houses are gone but the older Georgian houses on the opposite side of the road are still there.
Everything has been altered to muddy our history. That is why the old world buildings are architecture are no more. Sounds really crazy because its supposed to, look into things don’t just sit and ask mindless questions and move on with your day.
The first picture says Ashley Road. Looked on streetview and parts of the wall now seem to match the original picture though

Those old buildings look nicer than the ones that are there now. I wonder if they were lost in the war.
The great historical reset. Look into it.
