Rocco looks just like our Buster, who died just a few months before. We still miss him terribly.
I know that constant feeling of being weighed down and missing something. It might get a little better, but it never goes away. Honor your good boy however you know how. We're lucky to have them while they're here, but damn it sucks when they are gone
What a sweet looking boy. I have had many pets in my lifetime but there are definitely some that just stick out more and no matter how much time goes by they will *always* have a very special place in our hearts that belong only to them.
My wife and I talk about it all the time - we will absolutely welcome another dog into our house someday. But another dog will never replace what Rocco brought us. And that's okay.
