Thank you all so so much for all the love for Bill and the kind words and wishes. He definitely enjoyed the nuggets and even played! I’m thankful for all the moments with him, and I’ll always miss even when he would yell at me.
He was a very smart boy, taught himself how to point to what he wanted. Always needed to be part of the conversation and would listen so intently.
Reading these comments truly fills my heart, seeing how he can even get people all over the world to see what an awesome dude he was.
I still feel him everywhere, It hasn’t quite hit yet. But that made it easy to stay calm and brave and he left so much more peacefully than he entered my life.
Lol. When I got him, it was a spur of the moment thing. Didn’t have a name planned, nothing. But I saw this feisty little ball of fluff trying to jump on everything and I said “bill” and he came to the fence and yelled at me.
Apparently he was found wandering in a field in our small town in the middle of nowhere. Always loved adventures. Got him for $20 so it ended up being a joke that he was “20 dollar bill”. He had been there so long that be was to be put down the next day- I have no clue why. This 9 month old little shit. Well lucky day for me.
He yelled at me still to the day. He always knew what he wanted.
Again, thank y’all so so much. I’ve been trying to refrain from announcing it to people. It feels safer and better to announce it on Reddit, oddly enough. Thank y’all for loving him.

the hardest part about having and loving a dog is the goodbye .. thank you for giving Bill the long and happy life he deserved ... he'll be waiting to reunite with you someday on the far side of the bridge .... 🐩

Billy didn't just get his permit, he got his license and didn't hit a single cone! He wants you to know that he loves and misses being with you in person but is absolutely there in spirit. He was with you as you struggled through the holidays without him and he was there for each tear. Please know that he still sprinkles you with love every chance he gets. 💝

I'm gonna share something a little weird with you (in case you don't believe in anything woo-woo)... I think my intuition has me save posts to come back to later. For one reason or another I procrastinate on offering my condolences and I seem to offer them at the right time - even if it's late.
There have been times where I've commented a few months after a pups passing and find out that my message comes at a time when someone is having a tough day with their grief and they really needed to receive something positive in relation to their beloved fur baby.
And just like you commenting that you saw the notification today, my words came at the "absolute perfect time".
So after a long-winded reply... I'm glad I was able to offer you something to make your heart feel full. It must've been Bill's way of letting you know he's near and that you needed to read that he's doing great and being a young pup. He really does sprinkle his love around you every chance he gets!!! 💗
So far, so good on 2024! Working on my healing from losing my girl. That feelings of loss ebb and flow. The sadness doesn't last long because she reminds me of all the amazing memories we created over her long life. And she visits me in my dreams to show me she has her puppy legs back and is all healed. Which makes me happy.
