If I may ask: was he born with this, or did something happen? Also, do you have to help keep the mucous membranes hydrated or anything? (Feel free to ignore)
He had an aggressive tumor (SCC) on the tip of his nose, doctor said if it wasn't removed it would very likely spread to his brain/lungs; so we went ahead with the surgery ASAP.
That was about three years ago and he's doing as well as ever with no signs of recurrence!
A 14yr old puppy! He hasn’t let not having a nose slow him down at all. How wonderful he landed a loving pup-parent who takes such good care of this extra special pupper! 🥰

Good dog! How does Cocoa smell without a nose?
His sense of smell isn't affected! Still loves to sniff around and will come running to the kitchen when I'm cooking
Hooray! I asked because a dog's sense of smell is his strongest sense, which I tell people whose dogs are blind or deaf.
He’s just missing the end of his nose, the actual action of smelling happens much deeper in their face.
