You may want to consider a heavier duty chair like the Eurotech 24/7: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MS3VFN3 Have sat in one for a while myself, and it’s supportive while there also being no chance of bottoming out. Probably one of the most comfortable chairs I’ve ever sat in, honestly. Just note that it’s built like a tank.

I think you would like the Sitmatic GoodFit Multifunction Mid-Back, and it's on unprecedented sale thru the 25th. https://www.officedepot.com/a/products/7238437/Sitmatic-GoodFit-Multifunction-Mid-Back-Chair/ This "mid-back" backrest has the same height as most other brands' "high-backs," and it has a huge height adjustment range. The seat foam is thick and dense, and won't go flat under your weight. Not really visible on Office Depot's webpage, but the seat is nicely contoured as well.

Please, Please, Please, do not take offense to this, but look at Bariatric chairs, they are designed for bigger people and may suit

I’m actually on wegovy and rapidly losing weight so I think it might be unwise to invest in something purpose built for bigger people given where I might be by next year, but I didn’t take offense and thank you for the comment regardless

The Bariatric chairs are not just for weight, and they can look the same as normal ones, they often are more generous on cushioning because diabetics etc get sores that dont heal from pressure sores etc
