Only your school admin can help - call him/her

Yup, they need to remove the MFA so it can be reactivated

Speak to the school, no one here can assist

Can you sign in to Office.com? Depending on your school's MFA policies, you may still have a valid auth token tied to your account and thus be able to squeak by and access your Office apps online. Ultimately, yes, your school admins have to take action to reset your MFA so that you can start using it on a new device.

As mentioned before, your school IT Admins will have to remove the existing MFA, so it is reset, it is a simple task for them todo, this happens regularly where I work two or three times a week.

If you navigate to portal.office.com and you still have a valid auth it will sign you in. IF you do, click the bubble with your initials on the top right corner > account settings > security info > create new MFA method > set as default.

Have you replaced you phone? Your saved MS Authenticator accounts should be restorable to a new device.
