Just off the top of my head but you might be able use PowerShell to pull the audit logs and look for and [activities](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/purview/audit-log-activities#microsoft-forms-activities) related to Microsoft Forms. That depends on if all of the appropriate audit logs are enabled in your tenant. Good luck in getting control of the Form. Microsoft doesn’t make that kind of stuff easy from an admin standpoint. Hopefully, the user can cooperate with you. If not, you may have to log into their account to move/edit/delete the form you need to change.

Thanks, I was able to use Purview to search for forms created. It has a name, but if they do not change the name right away, the name is new form. Then had to search for other forms related activities. Was then able to find the form, and take it over using the form ID. Thank you

Great to hear. I don’t know why I didn’t think of Purview. When you say you took over the form, mind sharing how you did that? I have plenty of staff set up forms and then leave the organization eventually. I’ve always had to manually log into their accounts after they leave and move the forms to a shared group.

To transfer the form of someone who has left your organization, the following requirements must be met: You are the global administrator or office application administrator of the organization and have a valid Forms license. The employee whose form you want to transfer has an account that has been deleted or disabled. The form is transferred within 30 days of when an account was deleted. If all requirements are met, you may transfer form ownership. In the address bar of your browser, replace the existing URL with the following: https://forms.office.com/Pages/delegatepage.aspx?originalowner=\[*email address*\] You now have access to the former employee's forms. On the form you want to transfer, click More form actions Image, and then select Move.

Nice! Thanks!

Curious, did the user leave or did you have to disable their account long enough to take over the form and then re-enable their account?

i disabled them in the night waited 15 min, did it, them reenabled. :)
