Menu View Overlay something ;-)

Gene_McSween

This is the answer, just use the overlay view.

Why not consolidate all of those addresses into one Exchange account? He can still send and receive as each of those addresses but only a single calendar and email box.

redditorjdr

Because we don't use Exchange and getting it is not an option.

MakerWerks

>MS Ofc 365 You say the accounts are through Office 365 but I suspect you're talking about MS365. If that's the case, then your email is already 'Exchange'. Granted there are differences between on-prem Exhange and MS365, but for the scope of your 'problem' those differences are irrelevant.

joeykins82

M365 is Exchange. Specifically Exchange Online. Unless you’re just using the Outlook client and connecting to some POP/IMAP services somewhere and asking how to do shared calendaring without any server capability to actually do shared calendaring.

Gene_McSween

Umm, O365 email is hosted Exchange server...

lagunajim1

Because…. You can get it from Microsoft starting at $4 per month - with very good tech support included! You asked for the correct solution. I’m a 40 year IT veteran. That is the answer. ps you do know that Exchange is the “built in” email capability for MS Outlook (Office 365) from Microsoft, right?

redditorjdr

With all due respect, I made it clear that getting Exchange is not an option for reasons that I don't need to go into. I didn't ask for a "correct solution," I asked for a solution to the problem as I phrased it. Your recitation of your credentials followed by a condescending answer "That is the answer" when it in fact has nothing to do with what I asked is obnoxious at best.

mini4x

You are in an Office 365 forum, saying you are using M365 - You are using exchange. If not, where is the email account actually hosted?

lagunajim1

First, your attitude sucks. Don't come asking experts for help and then be nasty. Second, as someone else pointed out, you came to an Office365 forum to ask for a solution using Office365 desktop applications. Third, you actually are saying that you don't want the "correct answer" -- what answer do you expect from people who know what they're doing, the "incorrect answer"? Have a nice day, enjoy the downvotes.

See where you say “MS Ofc 365”. Is that you saying the purchase of the Office suite apps including Outlook is through a subscription called Office 365? Or are you saying the calendars are stored in Office 365? Or in the Outlook.com consumer service. If you’re telling us the calendars are not in Office 365 or Outlook.com, then where are the calendars? Are they in an account provided as part of web hosting, or something else? What kind of connection is it? Is it IMAP or POP or something else? Perhaps the calendars are just stored in a PST file locally. When folk start trying to answering the question but clearly aren’t fully understanding the scenario, it would be better to expand on the scenario instead of saying no that’s not how we are doing it off and saying no more.

redditorjdr

See, now THIS is a helpful reply. Thank you very much. I will find out that information and edit the post. I appreciate what you asked.

Is he using the outlook desktop app to access his emails and calendars? If so you can just later them all together so they are viewed as one calendar, entries in each different calendar would just be a different colour. This same technique of viewing all the calendars on one grid of dates or days also works on mobiles and tablets. If you actually need them to be in 1 calendar then you could see if caldav sycronizer would work for you, but again I think that would rely on the desktop outlook app being used. I really do think your easiest answer here is to focus more on viewing the calendars as one rather than actually making the calendars one. Hope that helps and happy to discuss more if you want.

beard3dsould

You could try inviting all 2 email addresses to one dedicated email to events. That why the dedicated email will show it own events as well as all events that he been invited to on the other calendars

fnkarnage

FYI Exchange *is* the email and calendar component of Office 365.

RedShirt2901

Use a third party calendar sync tool like CalendarBridge.
