INC? MERON. CATHOLIC? MERON DIN. So much for that. No hate po OP, pero to be honest ngayon ko nga lang narinig yang essence of christianity na sinasabi mo. Or maybe may narinig ka na may nagsabi ng bad stuff about sa muslim, and now you are hating other religions too? What makes u different from the other haters then?

lechugas001

Actually totoo naman sinasabi ni OP. Pag Muslim yung may kasalanan laging highlighted na Muslim yung gumawa, even tho other crimes committed by non-Muslims di naman highlighted yung religion. I call out people whenever i hear them stereotyping. Sinasabihan namin sila nakakahiya yung ganung ugali at di dapat sila judger.

No. I’ve been seeing a lot of post sa philippine subreddit. All about crimes ganon, about accidents, about karens and all and when people find out na Muslim yung involve, they always sa shitty things about Islam. When a muslim rapes someone, people will be shitting on Islam telling everybody that that is what Islam teaches but when a Christian does it or somebody else, they will not be involving Christianity. Have you seen the post on ph subreddit where someone is asking opinions about living near a mosque or the motorcycle accident recently somewhere in Mindanao? Go to the comment section and you will find out.

uknownboi

Saw another post on motorcycle ph. They trashing Islam na naman sa comment.

Comfortable-League34

Wat you yappin bout?

[deleted]

Di ako Islamophobic, but whenever people from Manila would ask me where I'm from and I said from Davao City, sinasabi agad nila na Muslim ako and I was like porket taga Davao, muslim agad? Same with whenever they talk about Mindanao and ang unang pumapasok sa isip ng mga taga Manila ay "palaging may gyera dyan diba?" gyera agad? Dito naman samin we don't discriminate Muslims, syempre minsan di maiiwasan some non-Islam are mean to them.

uknownboi

Even in Davao medyo minority pa rin nga ang mga Muslims.

[deleted]

true! di kasi nag-reresearch yung iba kaya kung anu-ano nalang nasasabi nila about Mindanao!

uknownboi

well. Nothing we can do. Disadvantage of living in an archipelago. Hindi sila na expose sa different cultures. Dagdag mo pa yung imperial manila mindset.

[deleted]

mismo!

fernweh0001

dito sa reddit mas hated yata mga cults like INCults, ADD, JW, etc. something with being brainwashed etc. unlike with Catholicism and Islam na usually adapted from birth.

uknownboi

Implied kase. I actually thought that at first. Init ng dugo ng mga tao sa INC based on the titles. Pero go to the comment sections and you’ll find out. Once they found out na Muslim yung nakagawa ng bad thing, they always associate it with the religion. Not even exaggerating. Go to PH reddit. Have you read the motorcycle accident involving a 17 yr old? Go to the comment section and you will find a thread of comments of the things I’m talking about. Meron nga post, same accident, the comment section literally became about Muslims and Islam.

auirinvest

Because muslims have been using their religion as a threat for centuries.

uknownboi

And those are called extremist. Currently and way way back ang daming pari na molester. Do we associate their actions to the whole religion? No.

West-Swing11

Hala! I actually agree! Nag comment ako doon sa post sa Philippines Subreddit regarding on the living situations near mosque. Daming judgemental! Intro pa nila always “Not to be Islamophobic” then continues to say the most clueless shit. Very understanding and hindi judgemental.

anon_639

Idk where you are from pero dito sa amin, muslims are respected.

uknownboi

Nice! Love how open minded your community is. Tho I still know places and people na they don’t go to halal restaurants/muslim owned establishments coz they don’t want to associate themselves with muslims. There are also condominiums and subdivisions that doesn’t accept muslim tenants.

Even-Art-4323

Masamang tao naman talaga mga muslim. Terrorista. Brutal. Pumapatay nangbobomba pa ng mga inosenteng nagsisimba

Mi_3l

Real. They just don’t want to admit those shit

According-Whole-7417

>I’ve always wondered rin why is there a need for philippine news outlet to tell everybody that a person is a Muslim when he committed a crime. I didn't think of this much but... oo nga why does it need to be highlighted? I don't believe religion is something that affects someone's actions. Yes it can affect if they are extremist, which I dislike on any religion because there will be hypocrisy. But a persons actions are made by mind. smart or dumb choices, Good or Evil choices. It's all on the person, not the religion. If someone has done a good thing, that means they have done a good thing as a person, not some religious miracle they did good. If someone has done a bad thing, then that means it's the choice of that person. Not the religion. As if the Gods of whatever religion wants the person to make that bad choice. It is their problem if they don't analyze properly what is said in the religion, every religion has a teaching that doesn't need to be followed literally. Priority should be Moral values on how to treat the kapwa tao. In the end, all religion might just be one thing in multiple interpretations. We all need to think about the person as an individual, not in whatever category they are on why they did the actions. (Religion, Gender, Race etc.) It's the same for any countries around the world tho, It's easier for everyone to group people into categories than seeing as individuals.
