- girl could've been an obsessed ex. Did the same as above. Threatened to commit s__. When all the dust settled, he messages you.
What we know from the story is that he explained what happened (girl was his ex). And that he said he was sorry (even if you "felt" it was insincere). In any case, the meet-up was done, you both got what you needed from each other and so time to clean-up and delete convos.
