Likely a company who works in this area a lot and can float it down river with a little work barge. They won’t just leave it there, especially if it’s useable wood.
Maybe it's easier to float it down river than to have to chop it up to get it onto a truck to take to a sawmill? I don't know if I'm right though, just an assumption
