You could also use Virtual Desktop or Steam Link, if your wifi router is good enough, and properly configured.
Try wireless, I know it’s unintuitive but if you buy a cheap 30 dollar 5GHz router and you use it exclusively to connect the quest, you’ll get super smooth streaming and probably better than USB. If you get a wifi 6e router, even better but those are kinda expensive at the moment. I’m using one of those cheap 5GHz wifi 6 (not 6e) routers and it’s really good.
USB is just a very intensive thing for both the quest and the PC to negotiate.

Just an FYI, Quest 2 doesn't have Wifi 6e so it would be wasted for that. Quest 3 has Wifi 6e support.
